"It's okay, Anders, those hundreds of people you just killed don't matter."

From the mage point of view it's hard to sympathise with people who perpetuate the incarceration and routine execution of your people. Anders was right the war needed to begin.

Never noticed the similarity before

Well, aside from him not claiming that an incredibly passive aggressive god was guiding him.... tho now that I think about it, if he gets a religious following, Justice might get cast in that light, particularly if Hawke killed him.

And now that image is in my head: Anders the messiah lol

I remember in a stream, they said the right choices in DAO n 2, will have bad consequences. And bad choices, will have a good outcome. And Anders says he'll meet an horrible end, doing something great. I seriously doubt the knife to the back was, THAT, horrible. It sounded more like he'd sacrifice himself. He could of sacrificed himself to protect the Inquisitor. But you killed him, meaning no Anders to sacrifice himself to protect the Inquisitor, and you die.

I like this, why? because my hawke and my quizzy are two different people.

Felica hawke, a lovable yet sarcastic rogue, was friends with nearly everone and fell in love with choirboy sebastian. She was protective of her family, she sided with the mages to save bethany and no more. She did not agree with anders, and she rather became fed up and hated him near the end. So she knifed him.

If this creates negative outcomes for her and my quizzy, well guess what? people have to deal with the consquenses of their actions. I am totaly expecting the OGB to issues and I like that. :)

I'm sure that if Hawke let Ande5rs go and saw the explosion and Breach at the Sacred Temple, their first thought would be:

"Oh, Anders. Not again."

I'd pay ridiculous sums of money to see that.

There are a lot of mages who disagree.

Exactly, and those who have been shamed by the Chantry into thinking themselves cursed. The whole thing needs to be scrapped

What about that nutjob who wanted you and all your relatives dead because she was inept and got captured?

That one girl in DAO who thought she was evil for existing was particularly horrifying.

I hope Anders is doing better in the world state I chose. My Hawke romanced him, spared him but she also told him that he's going to help set the situation right. As much as that's possible. I'm not sure how much grounds she had to scold him though given her tendency to throw fireballs in the middle of crowded streets. The citizens Kirkwall must be very dodgy and strong followers of the don't snitch culture given how she was never reported. The streets were filled with large fiery explosions on an almost nightly basis after all while Hawke and her friends worked to remove undesirables from the streets.

Hopefully Anders the human has managed to let go of his anger directed at the templars so it can't influence Justice any longer.

There's nutjobs everywhere, even in the Chantry. Just look at Mother Petrice and her pet templar

That girl left me wanting to walk up to the templars or the clerics and asks what they've been filling her head with. An education that pushes someone to thinking they should kill themselves is not something I can support.

There are, true. However, Anders isn't speaking for all mages.

Exactly who I was thinking of... smh I just wish there were better things to say to her, poor girl. But she's probably one who gave herself to the Templars to be murdered after the circles were annulled, if she lived that long

Oh yeah, well from her point of view she was trying to help her own people. Hawke just seemed like another agent of Templar control and eventually after years of torment she snapped as anyone would.

No, but that doesn't mean that change wasn't needed just because some didn't think it necessary

The whole situation with Anders' actions always becomes this morally complex debate for most people.

For me its always as simple that he is one of my Hawke's best friends, and I owe him a debt. Not only did he give me the deep roads map to help reclaim my family's fortune and status, as well as it can be argued he's fought beside Hawke and saved his life a dozen or so times, but Anders also saved my brother's life. I'd struggle enough killing a good fiend I owe a lot to, but he saved my brother's life -- a life for a life.

No, she didn't care what Hawke was, she directly blames them for getting caught even after you tell Trask you're not with the templars. All she wanted was you dead,

I'd also add on that my character is always a mage so I have a particular bias. For others I can see the moral grey areas.

It's amazing how not a single moderate mage has ever said this. I like how you think it's okay to think for them, but not okay for the Templars to.
