out of the hurricane and collector smg which one will be better for biotics???

For biotics... so you mean light, right ? Actually, all SMGs are light at level 10...

 

Hurricane is better in terms of damage per second, but the CSMG has less recoil and is more accurate.

 

Among the other, the BPP isn't bad in terms of damage but has bad accuracy and high recoil. The Tempest is decent, too.

Hurricane has a lower accuracy and somewhat considerable kick to it. It's a close range weapon with a great amount of damage.

 

The CSMG is a longer range weapon, particularly in short burst fire.

 

All depends if you're playing a long range biotic or a cqc really. CSMG has the added benefit of not having to worry about ammo dumps.

CSMG.  Reloads itself between casts.  Good accuracy near or far range so flexible on various maps.  Hurricane and BPP with stab mods work well too but at closer ranges.

I like both but prefer the Hurricane as I have an unfortunate tendency to run out of ammo with the CSMG. It sucks to be slowly wandering around the map  holding it away from my face all the time and knowing I have only myself to blame.

 

I tend to use pistols on adepts, though.

Just a general remark about the prejudices displayed in this thread: the stabiliser mod completely changes the accuracy you can get from the BPP, Hurricane, and Tempest. Also, people make fun of the Locust but it's easy to get headshots with it and it has a worthwhile bonus for them.

 

I've greatly enjoyed playing the Tempest + Stability Mod + HVB on the QFE.

If you're not gonna use some CQC biotic kit like the Fury or Valkiry, CSMG is a better choice than hurricane. In fact I may say CSMG is the best SMG overall.

That is exactly why the CSMG suits the Vorcha Soldier so well.

If it were just a matter of getting a PC he would walk into a store and walk out with a PC. This is a very special PC, powered by Banshee Warp balls and with tiny electric pixies instead of transistors.

As TheBunz stated, pistols are actually a better choice for Biotics due to the Commando Package. +12% Damage to both Pistols and Biotics. Sure, many may prefer things like the Geth Scanner and the like, but if you're looking for raw damage output, the Commando Package is wonderful for a biotic. Likewise, SMGs and Tech classes go together like bread and butter for that very reason.

If you don't care about that and would rather use a Geth Scanner or something similar, then yeah, Hurricane for a close/medium range kit and CSMG for a medium-long range kit.
