I totally wouldn't trust renegade Catalyst Shepard.
Hell, I wouldn't even trust renegade Shepard with the responisbility to go fetch me a bottle of milk from the nearest supermarket. S/he would probably execute three random bypassers, make the cashier cry because s/he threatens said cashier with a loaded gun for a discount and make about three dozen xenophobic comments in the process. S/he might also steal candy from children while s/he's at it.
