Apparently you can collect squad members who can share their ammo powers with the squad, can these powers stack or are you limited to one?

No stacking for a couple reasons.
1. It reduces the tactical gameplay, if you stack a bunch of ammo powers there is no longer a benefit to switching.
2. Harder to create compelling visuals. Right now the ammo power is clearly displayed on the gun (as an icon). The tracers and impacts also represent the ammo power.
3. Harder to balance. We can make the ammo powers really powerful because we know you'll only have one. If you could stack 3 powers we would have had to nerf them to balance the game. Nerfs are lame!
