Required level for items?

I've been looking in to this, and have only found out that when this is switched on (say when hosting a lan game), it bases the level on how much it's worth.

 

For example, 1m worth = level 20 (made up but an example).

 

I looked to see if there was anything on the Use Limitation on the items properties, incase there was something like "level limitation", but unfortunately not.

 

This is a big problem for me because;

 

1) I don't want beginners or low levels wearing high level gear.

 

2) Some items need a certain level.

 

So if I wanted x platebody to be level 10, I would need to put the price to make it become level 10 in Neverwinter Nights 2's logic, instead of mine :/

Any idea how to do this in any other way?

Then what is it exactly that you want it to be? What would make sense to you? You could modify the on-equip event to get what you want, but I can't say more than that since I'm not sure what you're looking for.

I posted a script on the vault to allow level restrictions on items. It may help. The script is also on my blog.

I'm pretty much replicating a game, and it includes the prices.

 

Steel platebody = level 5 to wear for example, and it's priced at 600 gold pieces.

 

Because it's 600 gold, the auto level requirement to wear it, makes it something like level 1-2.
