Goals?

My goal is to become Archon of Tevinter and bring about a second golden age.I deeply admire the imperium of old and it's magisters,especially the ones who went to the golden city.I hold a deep respect for their ambition and seek to succeed where they failed.To become a god.This goal is secondary to restoring the Imperium to it's former glory and I do not think I will succeed but that it is something worth attempting nonetheless.

 

At the moment I am researching the darkspawn taint so I could one day be able to enter the black city without being corrupted but also so I could weaponize it.I adore learning and have studied the history of Thedas in great detail.The history of the elves especially due to their esoteric magics.Those studies have led me to believe that the imperium defeated the elves through biological warfare and not due to our superior might.

 

The taint is obviously a product of blood magic even if there is something else powering it.It spreads through the blood of a infected victim,their life force and eventually reaches their soul(As is the case with Corypheus which is why he was able to jump bodies),I learned this by experimenting on my slaves and with the help of a few grey wardens.What most intrigues me is how it affects each species differently with different broodmothers producing different types of darkspawn.It mutates them.Who's to say we didn't do the same to the elves with regular non tainted blood magic ?Such knowledge may be lost to us now but we had Dumat's aid then.The presence of humans alone could not have caused them to lose their immortality and made their genes adaptive.

 

I do not know weather my theory is true but I am trying to create a incredibly potent magical plague which would target only members of the qunari race using the taint as a base.Ideally this plague would be airborne and could survive without a host organism so that all qunari who survive it end up dying should they ever stop foot on thedas.If my plan succeeds Tevinter could focus on reclaiming it's lost lands.With how weakened the other countries are right now we could take them easily.
