Do you have friends IRL who enjoy video games?

Do you ever feel lonely because of this? Not romance-lonely, just..... lonely as far as your hobbies?

Do I feel lonely? No.
Loneliness is an admission of the desire to live in servitude to something other than your own ambitions.

Well, except my female friends. I don't think I have a single female gamer friend anymore (did in the past, but not currently).

Yes.
They have terrible taste though.
I amend their ways by introducing them to good games.
Like Deadly Premonition.
Get it.
Srsly.

Some do but they are console casuals.
Luckily for me, I prefer single player games.

Really? Everyone of my friends likes games. They may not like the same TYPE of games as me, but nearly every friend I know likes some form of video games.
Well, except my female friends. I don't think I have a single female gamer friend anymore (did in the past, but not currently).
Man. NONE of my friends like games. None. Not even my male friends. In fact, one of my closest friends (who is a guy) hates all forms of games, even board games. Not table top RPG's - I'm talking monopoly, trivia, and/or apples to apples. No joke.
I have one gamer friend but she is an online friend and she lives on the other side of the planet. We chat via email, like gaming pen pals. That's about it. :/

Thank you for the recommendation. I'm always looking into new games.

I prefer single player too. I don't do multiplayer or co-op or mmo's.
I just wish my friends IRL could geek out with me about video games. The sad thing is that I think a lot of them would enjoy (certain) video games, but they refuse to ever give them a chance. I don't think any of them have ever even attempted to play a video game in their life. And this describes both my female and male friends.

Interesting.
There are many variables that can go into this, but I'm going to suggest that it's either just the area where you grew up/live, or you don't have the "right" (if you could say that about this topic) types of friends.
Carry on.

If by videogames you mean COD and NHL then yes, otherwise no. None of them enjoy the types of games that I do. But what is a real life friend anyway?

We all share some similar hobbies. However, I'm pretty much the only person in my friends circle who is crazy about anime.

So I want to ask...
Have mobile programs like Viber, What's up and instagram become popularized in your area. They're kinda blights.

Most of my friends play video games more or less.

Yes. Though, I sometimes feel off-page. I like strategy, they like MOBAs. I like MOBAs, they like fighting games. And so on.
