door bash problem

Hello,

 

I have a door in an area that's locked and bashable. If the player picks the lock everything works fine, but if they bash it down I run into trouble. Once the door is bashed the player can go downstairs, but if they come back up the door is back in place, locked, open, un-bashable, and the transition no longer works. I checked to make sure I didn't have multiple doors but everything looks fine and all the settings look correct. Is there a trick to making bashable doors?

Did you check if any OnEnter script or trigger puts the door back in place? I also have several copies of the same area (using scripts to determine where the door leads to, depending on past events). Although I don't think it's the case here, it's probably worth checking still (by the way, are you sure the door tags are unique?)

I did check the tag and the door has no scripts at all, I even removed the default door bash script to be safe. Maybe I will try just deleting the door and re-adding it.
