I just finished reading your Seasons of Love, and I have to say it is just outstandingly good in the telling and finishing of the tale.

The pictures your words painted during the course, and especially at the end, of the story were deeply moving.

Guuuh... I want to draw more, but I'm torn between several ideas again. I realized I've never actually drawn Legam and Leliana kissing on the lips, but there's several different ideas for that concept alone I can't settle on. Sigh.

I'm also wanting to do a "family portrait" with them, Zevran, (a) mabari, and Jowan. But I'm not sure of the composition yet. Then there's a shoes-related idea, a song-inspired idea, and another reference to an in-game scene. Too many ideas, too little decision.

I imagined a very Disney-esque feel as Legam and Leli dance in that one... and at the sound of singing french pottery.

That's... Not quite the point. I plan on doing most, if not all. The problem is deciding which one I feel like doing first.

Bit of a change in plans fan art wise. I'm in a really foul mood right now (long story... Family and my unemployment status related) and I really, really need to vent. So, I did an "angry sketch" in about 40 minutes of Legam slaying the archdemon while listening to Amon Amarth's "Vahall Awaits Me" on loop. I feel a bit better, but as I'm about to go out on errands with the source of my irritation, that may change.

Sigh. At least I got a cool fan art out of it. EDIT: Forgot to add it earlier - click to enlarge.

Wow! He REALLY looks pissed off, lovely use of the red, somebody made fun of his ears one time too much.

Listening to Amon Amrath are you, very good indeed to vent some anger. Saw them in London in 07 and at Download in 08, awsome and fearsome.

He looks about half as angry as I was feeling at the moment. Very, very rageful. Luckily for other people, when I get angry I usually just draw and listen to various forms of death metal. If I have a friend around, we rant for a while and then it's all good. Since most of my friends don't live near me right now, I went the art/music route.

I think Legam would just start sulking if people didn't leave him alone about his ears.

Indeed. I like almost anything when it comes to music, but there are certain kinds I just can't listen to unless I'm in the right mood. Amon Amarth are one of those bands that fall under that. They're great for what they are, but I just don't enjoy most of their music unless I'm in a very, very bad mood. And when the mood does hit me and I turn my playlist to them, I feel much better/awesome after hearing some good snarling Viking maiming.

Mood wise, I'm mostly better. But now my right leg really hurts from being on it most of the day and I've got some random pains in my sides/stomach. Could be stressed-induced (it's happened before; if I get really upset I literally hurt physically for a while), but ever since I had a kidney infection last year I get paranoid whenever I get back/abdominal pains. Buh.

Thanks - they're inspired by the Warden in the Blur trailers. Pity we couldn't have taint-glowing eyes in the game, but why not use it in art?

And Legam would rarely, if ever, actually get that angry - probably not too far off from how he likely looked stabbing the archdemon, but that's about it. His rage is usually more subdued and pent-up.

Still a bit moody from earlier. No longer angry, but still a bit "blah." Unfortunately, I share a trait in common with Legam - when something upsets me, long after the moment's passed and the issue's been dealt with, I have a tendency to think back on it and just get upset all over again. Thankfully, I didn't need to do any more angry venting, but it did make me lean towards doing another more somber fan art.

When you're down, it's always nice to have someone there to comfort you, especially with a reassuring hug (I love hugs). Unfortunately, I don't have someone like that at the moment, but drawing Legam and Leliana in such a situation makes me feel better. And I got more sap fan art done, so... Hooray?

Besides, I figure the stress of his various and energy-draining duties would wear Legam down once in a while, so this isn't really as much a venting piece as the last one, but more drawing my Warden in a situation of emotion I can relate to.

I'm seriously considering redoing all the SoL images, as I'm not satisfied with the art anymore and I like the current style I'm using. I'm not 100% positive I will yet, but I roughed some pen thumbnail sketches before my taekwando class:
