Oh, I know. As much as I may whine about it, college has been the greatest part of my life. Funnily enough, not for the reasons of most people--mainly getting out the house, meeting new people, etc. I love it here because I'm learning so very much and I sort of have a learning addiction.

Speaking of learning addictions, did you hear about Itunes U? That thing is AWESOME. I've downloaded a whole bunch of stuff on my Ipod already. I listen to Murray Rothbard discuss Austrian economics while I'm going to class and it's AWESOME.

Edit: Ahaha, you know, I need to do that romance meme eventually for the lulz. After all, it's the only meme that doesn't require being able to draw.

I loved college for the friends and (most) of the classes. I love learning. It's the homework/tests that were a nightmare. Thankfully, most of my homework after freshman year were art projects. Granted, several of them sucked anyway, but I still preferred them over essays/question answers.

No, I've never heard of it. I pay little attention to all the extras you can get/they have on iTunes. I don't even us Genius or shuffle. When I put my music on, I'm in a mood for something very specific, usually. I love finding new music/songs, but I do that outside of iTunes and add it in later for when I'm in the mood for it.

Edit: Just looked it up. Very interesting, but I still wouldn't use it. Call me anal, but I like keeping my iTunes for music and music only; no movies, no videos, no podcasts, just songs.

Eh, no worries. We've derailed before. It always gets brought back on topic before it gets too out of hand when I post new art .

Mini announcement: I will make an attempt at a contest entry for deviantART's Dragon Age Club, and - surprise, surprise - it's going to involve Leliana. Legam may or may not be in it, dunno yet. As my concept is a bit of a montage piece, I'll actually be combining several drawings together into a larger comic and/or poster like image. While I'm working on this, I'll be posting up progress sketches as I go along. I won't update the thread's title until the work is done though, so if you want to see WIP stuff, just keep an eye on this topic.

Because Legam seems to keep getting more fans and my avatar of him is frequently getting complimented (see: hit on XD) by various forum-goers, I couldn't resist a little pen doodle tongue-in-cheek rebuttal to the attention he's getting:



XD Note that I don't mind the compliments/fans at all, but I just find it very, very amusing that so many find him sexy, since he's suppose to be an overweight mage with a fear of crowds. I think his fan-harem would disturb him.

Exactly. XD Well, "What the..." and then fleeing from the fangirls/boys... Probably behind Leliana so she can protect him with her arrows and her jealous streak.

Thanks, pen doodling's not easy, since you can't really fix mistakes.

He is adorkable (adorable + dorky). But he's not what most would consider super "hot" or "studly," hence my amusement at people's reactions to him/my avatar.

Personality counts a lot! It's why as someone who's not really attracted to very hairy men had a SUPER hairy first boyfriend. His personality made up for all the wookie fur.

Very, very easy to tease.  He's got wit, but he's also easily embarrassed by anything related to his looks, good or bad. Poor boy's used to sitting quietly by himself, reading a book. All this attention unnerves him.

And Aedan's got his own boyish charms/adorkable moments.

Yes, I had a bit of fun today writing about how he *tries* to master a templar focusing ability but thinks about Leli (naked) instead.  *sigh*  He's a boy, what can I say.

Bahaha. xD Oh men... Gotta say though, we women can be guilty of the same... We're just more subtle about it in most cases.

And even Legam's not free of the typical guy train of thought. All those years at the Circle tower made him really good at concentration, though - so his mind can "multitask" better. And he's probably better than Aedan at hiding his train of thought when it ventures into the gutter.

Example with Aedan:
Aedan: *Thinking about Leliana naked*
Leliana: What are you doing?
Aedan: Thinking about you naked.


Example with Legam:
Legam: *Thinking about Leliana naked - internally *
Leliana: Something on your mind?
Legam: *Shrugs* Oh, just reminding myself of something important. Now, you were saying something about shoes?

Still working on the club contest entry. As I said earlier, a good chunk of the final product will be a montage of images (dealing with Leliana's past), so I'm currently focusing on those as individual works. They'll be a lot smaller/blended in the final version.

Here's the first one, Leliana and Marjolaine during her bard days:



I must say, curls and feminine things are NOT my strong point, so this was a challenge. I looked at some Rococo dresses and hairstyles for inspiration/guidelines. Considering I've never tried to draw this much "girly" at once... I think it's coming along okay.

According to professional idiot/pervert (depending on your view) Atton Rand, from Kotor 2, projecting emotions like lust does help one resist Jedi and Sith mind control powers. So what Aedan does might help against blood magic.

WOW! I am seriously considering becoming gay after seeing that picture.

But from an objective point of view: Although he may not be the most handsome or beautifil man around, he does have a certain teddybear quality to him.
