Also, I'm working on the first image for the current Legam short story. I'll be posting it here as well as the Laurel Leaves topic when it's complete. Currently away from home though, so I won't be able to finish it for a few hours.

Found a funny (non-spoiler) screencap in my Awakening folder I thought you folks might enjoy:
I LOVE it for several reasons:
1. You can really see how green Legam's eyes are there.
2. Speaking of eyes, I don't think I've EVER seen his that wide. They're usually kinda squinted.
3. Leliana's right - he *does* have pretty eyelashes! *Snort*
4. His nose looks especially adorkable/amusing.
5. I didn't realize until this that there was an angle that could actually make his ears look small.
Also, I am currently writing the early age/magic discovery short story. I might break it into two parts; we'll see how it goes. Currently have about a page and a quarter written. Somewhat steady flow, but not completely "in the zone," as it were.
Ahaha, when Taiyama got to that scene, I thought the same as number 3: "Hey, Taiyama DOES have pretty eyelashes!" It's particularly funny because I was contemplating giving him pretty, Kamina-style eyelashes just because I would find it funny if Leliana's comment was actually true.

Finished the first short story image. I'm not going to be shading these (maybe in the future, though) so I can focus on writing and getting more art done. Saves me a lot of time if I don't shade. I might go back when they're all done and shade them, though. After I make sure the damn files are freaking BACKED UP. <_<

Little Legam and the elven merchant Palwen.

Great voice acting on Corinne's part, though.

You do know there's a Sacred Ashes/concept art armor mod for Leliana, right? (Image on the main mod page isn't the newest version; see the images tab for more up-to-date stuff). It's still a WIP, but it's coming along well, and it is downloadable now if you don't want to wait for the tweaks (like shoulder pads, I'm hoping.)

Such as "Viscount Funor is said to be attracted to women who have alot of make up or have a bust" Leliana said she would alter things about her to seduce that man, whether it be her character or looks to get the victim.
Also with the warden (Cogdale, Legam, etc...) although not really ingame but it seems the other members of the group talk alot at camp to each other. She could ask Alistair or any group member that The warden seems to be good ol chums with and ask what he/she prefers and uses her bard skills(charm) to further seduce the warden. Basically what my "Bard's Charm" drawing was all about. The drawing is actually a scene in my fan fiction way after Marjolaine incident and Leliana asks the others what Cogdale likes.

Generally in traditional Western views, women with very defined muscles aren't considered as appealing as those who are more voluptuous (or, it used to be; unhealthy skinniness seems to be popular for women right now, which frustrates me).
Of course, in the end it comes down to personal taste, but as far as six/four/etc packs go, they are more about form over function. They have no actual value to fitness; they only are defined muscle. I can't see any practical purpose for Leliana to have them, especially if Orlesian tastes are as Rococo as they seem to be. If anything, it would probably be encouraged for Leliana's muscles NOT to be as obvious, so she could seduce men better.
Of course, you can make Leliana whatever you please in your fiction/art. For me, Leliana does not have defined abdominal muscles, as they make no practical sense that I can see. Also, honestly... I don't find them attractive at all. On men or women.
Interesting theory/concept with Leliana talking to others at the camp about what the Warden likes. I can see her doing that. Legam (and myself in this case) would prefer her to just be herself, however. Even if that means she needs to further discover who she is. Much healthier for her mental health in the long run, rather than just sticking to the bard mentality of becoming a chameleon. But that's my two coppers.
Second illustration for the first part of Denerim Days is finished:

I actually drew this months ago and keep forgetting to post it. Glad I remembered I had it on the Bioware Fangirls LJ community, because it was another work I lost in the crash. Now it's recovered, whoo!

As you can see, I'm a bit of an oddball compared to most of the fan art drawing ME fandom in general:
- I play/draw male!Shep over fem!Shep.
- I don't use (and don't really like) Shemploo.
- I romanced/like Ashley.
- I stayed with Ashley in ME2, even after Horizon.
Okay, back to trying not to be distracted by the site and writing more Laurel Leaves. I think I'll take a break from the short stories after I finish the last part of Denerim Days. I have some fan art ideas I want to explore that are unrelated to it.

Here's some comparison for posterity:

I can see certain similarities, but they look more different than the same to me. But then again, I seem to pay more attention to facial details than most folks. *Shrugs*

Uh... That screencap's from ME1, Spartan. It's the default N7 armor, because I haven't played ME on this computer beyond remaking Hasani to screencap him in the intro.

You know what's funny? I don't really use green eyes often in character design, so I'm not sure how they both ended up with them. The eyebrows and facial hair, however, should not surprise anybody who knows me. I rarely create men with no facial hair at all. I love the face fur. :3
I chose green eyes for the first three toons I made in DA because the green was so vivid and I became addicted to it. Then I made Aedan (and the rest is history?).
Face fur, no. Scruffy stubble, YES.

@Sisi: I know I chose green for Hasani because I loved how "radioactive" they looked. I really don't know why Legam's are green. He was one of the last Wardens I designed, so it's possible I had simply done most of the eye colors already and just went with green to be different. I never even though about Hasani also having green eyes until now, heh.
Stubble can look good on the right guys -

- but I likes me the wooly faced men. I'm especially fond of goatees and other chin beards. Sigh. <3

Also, this guy. Pity his hair is greying already, though:

SUPER GOATEE! <3
