It's an old tablet. I've had it for... Hrm... *Counts on fingers* ... Seven, eight years now? It still works great, though. Surface is starting to get a bit scratched, but you can replace the cover film for fairly cheap.

Edit: Holy crap, 42 pages. Does this mean my fan art topic is now the meaning of life?

I got CS3 just before CS4 came out. I'm too poor to upgrade, plus there aren't enough differences between CS3 and CS4 to justify upgrading anyway. That's not to say there aren't some cool things new in CS4, but I have plenty to work with on my current version.

I think it is bamboo. CS5 is the schiznat, really awesome and easy to use. My hubby didn't get CS4 either.

My roommate in collge got a Bamboo last year. She loves it. It doesn't have as many layers of pressure sensitivity as other tablets, but unless you're doing really intricate work, that doesn't matter; I tend to recommend it to people on a lower budget and who're using tablets for the first time.



They're up to CS5 now? I'm getting behind the times. Sigh.

Yeah, and 5 is fantastic. loads changes in a snap, does changes in a snap. Not sure, but there is a video demo on the intertubes somewhere. It is amazing.

Part of that is the system it's on though, I'm sure. CS3 does things VERY fast on my PC, and I built it specifically for gaming and image editing. Hardly any lag on this thing, ever.

Not to say that CS5 isn't faster in general, though.

Oh I know, the hubby has CS3 and he built his computer too. It is fast on it, he is a web designer, so it needs to be. But CS5 does somethings that required you to cut and paste, and could take you hours (depending on how detailed it was) now it is *bing* hit a button.

I already circumvent cut/paste by hitting a button... But that's through Actions and customized settings rather than built in.

Ah, he designs websites too? I freelance web design a bit while I'm looking for a more regularly scheduled full time job.

His hand's actually just past the bottom of her breasts, you perverts. ;P Legam's not the public groping type. I'm tempted to re-layer it so Leliana's hand is on top, not his.

Heh, thanks. I say this a lot, but I do like to focus on expressions/body language/emotion.

I'm grumpy because I'm worried about a couple of friends and their current stress levels/concerns (even though I know, rationally, they're likely fine). So until I hear from them, I'll probably remain at least a little worried/grumpy. I'll leave it at that. And I'll take that cookie anyway, thank you. *Munches*

Heheh, trust me, you're not the first by far. Legam's apparently acquired quite the "fan harem" as I call it on here and deviantART - of both women and men. It's why I drew stuff like this to joke about it.
