@Sisi: I take your bugging in good stride because you do the same when the tables turn, old lady. ;)

@Taiyama: No worries. :)

@Apophis: ... Bad 80's music clip? *Laughs* Because of the visor? xD I guess I can see that, but I always liked the visor in the game, at first just for the stats - but then he just didn't look right to me without them, so I included them in the art. And I was going for the Clone Wars cartoon (the 2D micro series from years back, not the current 3D one) art style with it. :P

As for the NWN2 fan art, I'm kind of amused you ran into it before and didn't know it was me. xD Did you ever see the "NEVERWINTER NIGHTS 2" comic before? That was me also.

I have never seen that comic before.  But after seeing it I can't help but feel a bit sorry for your friends and family each time you buy a new RPG. Image IPB

And have you ever read the NWN2 comic series "Ask the Betrayer?"(http://epantiras.dev...cover-124300722)

My reactions in that comic were slightly exaggerated. :bandit:

You should have seen my poor roommate (the one saying, "Is she dry-humping the box?" in the comic) when I bought Dragon Age. I think I scared her a little with all the gleeful cackling and hugging the box. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/lol.png[/smilie]

Epantiras? I love her stuff. She cracks me up. :lol:

Oh, and while I'm thinking of KOTOR fan art, this was (partially) also my work. Aforementioned roommate drew it, I started the initial idea and colored it. It remains my most favorited and viewed deviation on deviantART. O_o

Also, that "bad 80's music clip" comment made me think of this. :lol:

Here you go, Sisi. You said Leli would likely dress Rory up in miniature noble attire, and the best reference I could find quickly was Arl Eamon's.

I'll post this on your fanfiction topic too.

I've seen it and my cheeks hurt I'm grinning so widely. The outfit is PERFECT (Just the colours I would have chosen had I been Leli *nods*)

Thank you!!! *bowls you over with a big hug*

Now didn't you have fun doing this? Aren't you grinning? Just a little?

Not at all, actually (grinning, I mean). Probably because I'm eating. :P

... I see you like Rory too. xD;

Anyway, I successfully installed Baldur's Gate II on my Windows 7 PC today - and considering it was my favorite game for about... Oh, 6-7 years before Dragon Age usurped it (and I still like it more than DA:O in certain ways), I figured I should celebrate by drawing my canon Bhaalspawn, Nemelian.
Image IPB
He's a Neutral Good half-elf ranger - archer specialization (and yes, Forgotten Realms half-elves can grow facial hair, so nyeh. :P).

Any old BG2 players care to take a guess who he romanced? (No, I didn't use mods)

EDIT: Fixed left (viewer left) mustache ring. It was a little... "Lumpy" I guess would be the term.

Nice picture, although I honestly think the moustache is more dwarven than elven. Image IPB

And since you're not a Morrigan fan I doubt he romanced Viconia. Seeing as Aerie has the most in common with Leliana I think Nemelian fell in love with her.

And the point being...? ;) Who says he has to follow elven fashion sense, eh? He did grow up with a bunch of well-educated humans, after all. xD Besides, I used a lot of Celtic influences for his look, including the mustache, so I actually think of the Northern human groups and barbarians more than I do dwarves when I see his mustache. :D

Not to mention full-blooded elves can't grow facial hair in the FR, so I have no idea how ANY mustache could seem eleven. :blink:

... Just because I don't draw her much doesn't mean I don't like Morrigan. :blink: I like Morrigan just fine, and would in fact count myself as a fan. I just don't feel like drawing her much. But that's irrelevant. No, he didn't romance Aerie. I figured since I'm such a Leliana fan people would guess that, but no. I actually don't like Aerie very much... I don't hate her, but she's "meh" to me. Friendzone? Sure. Romance? No. In fact, she's the only NPC I haven't had a BG2 character romance at some point.

I've said before that Leliana is atypical of my favorite female characters in games - I generally like the cheerful types like her, but they're not often my absolute favorite NPCs. I usually gravitate more towards headstrong, say what they think type women as my favorites. Ashley is still my favorite Mass Effect character, for instance.

D'AAAAAAW! So cute! :wub::wub:

I-I mean... It's just a kid, nothing to get excited about... >.>

*-50 man points*

Damn it.

Also: I hate being an insomniac so MUCH. It always strikes when I least want it to. (Yes, I have insomnia AGAIN. And on the night before two exams. And I have to wake up at 6:15. GLORIOUS!)

@Taiyama: xD HA! I would say showing affection for a child is the mark of good paternal instincts and should actually EARN you man points. Pity about the insomnia though. :C
@Kyari: ... You've been on my friend list for HOW long now and you didn't know this?! Shame on you, shaaame!

I kid, of course. :) Nice to know I have another follower. xD Though I am now curious how you finally found this topic after not knowing about it for so long...

Well, the man points system is based off very cliche', stereotypical "manliness"--not the old school manliness a la The Art of Manliness that I try to live up to--and it's a running joke with me that many of my actions earn me negative points. My current total is about -2334876. But yeah, I DO have much greater paternal instincts than your average guy--it's showed in my love for children and pets.

Also: Welcome to the club, Kyari! I too must wonder why you never noticed us before.

It's a good running joke. :D And paternal instincts are good, whether or not you actually have kids, methinks. I'm very tomboyish, but I have a big maternal streak - I love working with kids and get along/take care of them very well. Used to babysit a pair of siblings for years, and I refereed kids soccer games for a long time... The parents/coaches liked me and the way I worked with the kids so much I was constantly asked how they could go about requesting me to do their games as often as possible. :lol:

Bah, too lazy to bring up that little character thingy to get an accented e. You got what I was trying to say, anyway.

Yeah, I dealt with kids a lot when I volunteered at the zoo on Saturdays. It was always a mixture of fun and frustration. Is it just me, or if kids form into a line, there is ALWAYS ALWAYS a few stragglers?

DR fanclub? Heck, I don't know. It was early when I said that, I can't be liable for anything I say or do before 10:00. :P

You don't need to bring it up. Just hold down Alt and (using the keypad on the right of your keyboard), type 0233. That's it. Been doing that myself for years.

xD It's not just you.

I only ask because these things seem to happen when I'm not paying attention. I didn't even know I had deviantART "stalkers" until a few weeks ago. xD

Ah, können Sie Deutsch? Ich spreche ein bißchen Deutsch... aber meine Grammatik ist sehr, sehr schlect und ich habe zu viel Wortschatz vergessen.

You can always find out the code for a special symbol in the same window you manually insert them from, you know. It's often shown in the lower center/right corner.

Ja, ich spreche nur ein bisschen Deutsch. And like you my grammar in German is not so great, and I too forget vocabulary. The grammatik being poor is no surprise when I don't do so well in English. ROFL! Ich lebte in Zwiebrüchen, drei jahre. Hehe, I understand more than I can speak or write anymore. UGH!

I didn't live anywhere in Germany; I just took German for three years in high school, but I've forgotten most of it from disuse. I do remember enough to say a few simple things still though, like: Ich bin dreiundzwanzig Jahre alt.

Even when I knew it, I was terrible at grammar - vocabulary wasn't an issue most of the time. I do great in English - a lot of it is natural for me, so I don't usually have to think about the "rules" - which is probably why grammar was hard for me. I couldn't remember what a "direct object" was and such - I just knew how things are "supposed to be" in English.
