I decided to move some things I was going to do in this chapter to the next, as otherwise it feels too long/rambling. So, I only have some closing paragraphs and proofing to make. Going to try to post everything on my blog within the next hour or two.

Very nice, very nice indeed. Your work is so much better than my own, I'm actually a tad jealous. I loved the whole running theme of holding hands and the epic fail proposal. Seems rather fitting for Legam. Can't wait for the next, final chapter. I predict it'll be about Legam's Calling.

Edit: Fun fact: Did you know that according to David Gaider, a Warden can have a child with a non-Warden (though it's very rare and hard to do) while two Wardens together is pretty much impossible? Makes me wonder if Legam and Leliana have a little kid running around somewhere.

Thanks.  I'm fairly happy with the chapter, though I still wonder if it might feel odd since it jumps around. I'm hardly trying to make anyone jealous though, so... I'm sorry?

I decided on the holding hands theme months ago, hence the drawing. I still like the theme, but I no longer like the drawing. That's what I get for taking so long to write everything, ha.

Anything but an epic fail proposal for Legam and I would be doing his character an injustice. Besides, there's too many fairytale-esque proposals in fiction that work out flawlessly. I have several friends/acquaintances whose proposals were planned out to be special, then went awry in some way. If you ask me though, more often than not, the foiling of their plans ended up making the actual proposal more endearing. I liked that, and decided to use it here.

Well... It's never really been a secret that this would cover up to the Calling. :B So yeah, that's pretty much it next. That, and some brief looks into his life that I skipped this time around. I won't go into as much detail on those, though, since the focus is the Calling itself.

Yup, I'm very aware of this. It's rare, but possible. As to the answer to that question... You'll just have to wait until I write the last chapter to find out.

Knowing Taiyama, he'll either pull a proposal off spectacularly or try to and have it epic fail all around him--one of the two extremes. I haven't decided yet.

Personally I don't see anything Duncanish (maybe it's the beard?) but no worries there. There's no young king charging into battle against darkspawn right now. XD

I like your style of drawing! The characters look very expressive and that works awesomely with the humor! It's also refreshing to see a comic drawing style different from anime. I can enjoy both just the same though.

Thanks, I try. Expressions and humor are frequent favorites of mine to do.

Still have a Legam/Leliana fan art idea I want to try to get to tonight, and I think after I might tackle Taiyama's fan art request from his last chapter. Tallon, I tried doodling your request earlier today, but I had to scrap it. The ladies and Alistair wouldn't cooperate with me, or my hand wouldn't cooperate with them. Kept coming out like crap.

Legam was born with big Dumbo ears, and big Dumbo ears he shall have until the day he dies.


I think the trouble I ran into with Tallon's is that I suck at drawing roses and I have more trouble with drawing females than males. Nothing just wanted to look right. I might still attempt it again in the future. As for yours, I could use practice with the kind of expressions/body language required for it. Not to mention I have an angsty fan art idea or two I might try, and I figure I could use your request as a warm-up. 

Anyway, my brother and I have taekwando classes, but different ones. Mine's after his, so I have to sit around during his class. Today, I doodled in pen on a paper pad while waiting. Going to scan the results and share them in a moment.

Notable doodles: Near the top, I tried to see how well I could draw Legam and Leliana without references. Legam's pretty close I think, save his chin. Leliana feels a bit off, though I still like it anyway. Also did Oghren, Zevran and Dog, but I think they kinda failed.

Elf kid is a character concept I have. Not sure on his looks yet. Rest are various body part practices or stupid humor.

Second page:

Noteworthy doodles: The two big heads at the top are an attempt to draw Legam's parents. I like how they came out, but I'm not settled on their looks yet. Did Legam as a kid to teen to adult, though I fudged the adult face. The girl with pigtails is just some random Rivaini girl. I figured I could use more practice at children, especially girls. The "LOL I'm a doodle!" in the corner is me. I like to draw myself with rather large front teeth, because... Well, I have large front teeth. They're not that oversized, but that's the fun of cartooning and exaggeration. :B

Oh, and the "POUT" guy in the upper corner is Diyero, the protagonist of my webcomic. He's sulky because I've been drawing more Dragon Age fan art than him lately. XD

Haha, very nice. One question about the elf kid, though: are his ears supposed to be that large for some reason? I dunno, it just seems to me that they would get smaller as he was younger and not be as large as he is older. His expression sort of gives either a "sad" or "doormat" impression on me, though, if that's what you were aiming for.
