So I realize this has nothing to do with Elves,but please bear with me.

 

I've sort of asked this question once before and well I didn't really get any nice replies,so I thought I would ask at a place I felt welcome.

Okay,, now my question is...does anyone think the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will be awful graphics-wise?

 

I don't think they will since Bioware is normally very good at in the graphics department.But I'm still wondering if the graphic difference will be a totally major difference.

 

I'm only buying the xbox 360 version right now because I can't afford a new console right now and I'm thinking only maybe my laptop can run Inquisition.

 

So for now the 360 version is my only option,I plan to get the ps3 version as well (so I can play MP with some of you lovely forum people)

 

And I know Bioware said that there would be less NCP's on the screen for the older consoles...but I mainly just want to know that the graphic difference won't be too great.

 

I mean of course they will look better on the PS4 and Xbox One,I just don't want the PS3/Xbox 360 versions to suffer much

 

Half of me is sure that those versions won't suffer much in the graphics department while the other half me is like 

 

Wow...this is a long post xD but I just wanted to hear some opinions on this subject...as we haven't seen footage for the old console versions.

I personally don't feel that the ps3 and xbox360 versions will suffer much in terms of graphics.

 

Undoubtedly the ps4 and xboxone will have better graphics, but I've watched a video of Battlefield 4 comparing both the ps3 and ps4 version, and the details were REALLY minuscle.

 

I think water and the finer details (Like lighting on armor and clothing) will be the biggest drawbacks.

I have no doubt the newer consoles will get the better graphics but I didn't want the older consoles to suffer much either.

 

But I do have faith in Bioware's graphic skills

i'm getting it on ps3 so i hope not, its using the new frost bite engine so it will at least... at least, look better than the last two games. if not better than mass effect? (i thought the mass effect series was very visually pleasing.)

It'll probably run on 720p as opposed to 1080p on PS4 and XBONE, but that's about it.  It'll also run at 30fps as opposed to 60fps on PS4 and XBONE.  Other than that, I don't think it'll suffer on PS3 and 360.

I honestly couldnt tell the difference with AC:black flage on 360 and vids on the xb1 version. So it wont be jarring but you'll see the minor difference if your looking.

Besides we wont lose any content

As someone who still plays nethack with ascii graphics... Content is king. Graphics can take a back seat

Heres the character creator on the xbox 360 (SLIGHT SPOILERS just in case you don't want to be spoiled.)

 

It looks pretty good imo, though I'm kinda peeved about dat shiny hair
