I was watching the video from gamespot at the most recent build of the game only to realise that im playing an other dragon age 2 with dragon age origins wanna be skin.

The mage attacks like he is on frenzy prety much unsusual for a mage.In dragon age origins the mage was a mage.

In inquisition and da2 it looks like magic ninja jedi.

Pathetic

Heres the video at gamespot.

http://www.gamespot....u/1100-6423437/

Totally dissapopinted by this dicision and thats why im not buying the game.

This and because morigan is not in our party and we have this st''pid looking and talking casandra

I wouldnt have problem too add another good looking mage like morigan but you decided to add this mage in the game and that stupid dwarf.Seriously you couldnt go ,more wrong

I dont see any interesting characters for the party.

Venture forth alone looks more likely with all these crapy characters

In the video below the combat looks more strategic and slower and the mage is not spamming attacks like a frenzy ninja.

I only watched a minute or two of the video because I'm trying to avoid spoilers from all these previews, but I watched enough so I'd be able to confirm what you are talking about.

At no stage did Gamespot use the tactical cam, they choose to play in real time.

You has a player could choose to play in real time, use the tactical cam or use a combination of both.

If you want your experience to be more like the second video you posted, then use the tactical cam. Problem solved.

I thought the primary complaint was that the attack animations are too fast, or something like that.

anyway, there are i think 9 possible companions you can choose. If dont like cassandra, look for other warrior. If dont like solas, you will have i think 2 more mages.. About the new jedi combat style, yeah, i always played more classic mages until DA2 xD but there is more dynamic game with that change and i think there is not the biggest problem we can find

Probably because they kept the exact same animation that DA2 used, but removed staff melee.

1.) I think your reasons for refusing to buy the game are invalid but that's your choice

2.) Why create this thread if you have already decided? Seems rather pointless.

well the attack animations are the same speed in both videos, so I assumed the complaint was that the combat in general was too fast, which isn't an issue when the tactical camera is used.

But maybe I'm wrong

I really wouldn't bother responding, OP has one post and decide to throw in some homophobic language. It's a troll.

Im not talking about tactical camera the game is at faster paced and the mage is attacking with his stuff faster than a rogue can do

This is pathetic

I hate that they removed staff melee. I loved whacking my enemies upside the head when they got too close. lol!

anyway i miss more variety of weapons in mages. i know mages always equipped staves in dragon age but i really like from other games can choose what weapons use.

Here

Warriors (2 types of classes): 2h maces, swords, axes, 1h maces, swords, axes and shields

Rogues (2 types of classes): daggers, bows and crossbows

Mages: Staves xD

It was cool to use wands, off-hands, and maybe magic shields or magic focused daggers or maces. I mean different ways to play our mages, with shield maybe more defensive mage (less damage and a bit less survivability) even if only knight enchanters could use them, with off-hands, more offensive mages (more damage and less health or something like that) and staves (which could be more compensated) and the same with weapons, changing something between wands, daggers, maces or so.. I mean it is more work to do programming all, but since mages are the only 1 class type, it could be great to have some choice with the gear we use like we have with the archers and warriors

It makes even less sense when you find out they added blades to the crafting system so you can stick them onto staves.

I presume it's because they would have entirely had to redo the animations for the Knight-Enchanter (Which would have had staff melee and sword), and stripping melee entirely from every other mage was easier.

then your comparison between the two videos make no sense, the animations in both are the same. Yet you said you hate it in the first video and like it in the second.

At this stage I must conclude that you are indeed a troll
