North of Thedas vs Qunari. Allow us to see Tevinter as more of a saviour as opposed to the evil mage country. Perhaps push to change the perceptions of a country ruled by mages. Something that could be doubly important after a demon invasion in the previous game.

I wonder how well the northern nations fare against the breach and the rifts opening up all over the place and the Inquisition not being there...

Well, obviously, this:

A game in Tevinter would be awesome, especially if it means frying lots of Qunari.

I hope that BioWare doesn't discard romances for the next games. I would not blame them if they did, but I hope they don't. But man........there was some heavy backlash this time around.

I'm sure they won't do that.No matter how annoyed people got at the romances, they're always clamoring for more. They can't make everyone happy, and they've recognized that, but they're not going to get rid of them.

I agree that they won't get rid of romances in the DA or ME series.

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't add in romances when they start a new series, though.  I've seen a few comments from devs that seem to be feeling out what the reaction would be if there was a new series that didn't have romances.

What's that new one about dreams or demons or something?  I bet that one won't have romances.

I think a game that focuses on the Qunari should be in Rivain. They're the Moorish Iberia of Dragon Age and probably the biggest melting pot because of it (Chantry vs Qun vs native Rivaini traditions vs Tevinter).

I'm more interested in Rivain, Antiva and the qunari. Enough about Ferelden, i got so tired of this place tbh.

Exactly! There's not much anyone knows about it because it's got the Qun influence, but there's still the chantry, and there's still the hedge mages which everyone knows about and still goes to them... It's just a big ball of mystery. No one can say anything definitive about Rivani. Meanwhile, Tevinter can be summed up in one sentence: "Ruled by mages who own slaves, practice blood magic, and hate pretty much everyone else."

I think it's pretty clear that initial development on DA4 is already under way.

DAI development started before DA2 shipped.

DAI dlc content will release for a year or so with DAMP dlc possibly longer.

Attention will start to shift to Mass Effect mid-late 2015 with Mass Effect '4' landing in 2016 I reckon.

With the Frostbite 3 implementation on DAI I'd expect a slightly shorter development cycle for DA4.

Spring of 2018 sounds about right, with the first reveals after Mass Effect '4' has shipped.

Has to be Seheron / Tevinter.

Including a major city location again would be nice too, especially now that hardware can handle more than ~6 people on screen at once.

Finally. Getting stuck in Ferelden in DA:I was bad enough. It's good to hear that we're ideally never going back.

Or DA4 will be Tevinter vs Qunari during the blight. Fits more into into BioWare story chart, unless there will be an uprising/civil war in the Tevinter, then the Qunari will invade and darkspawn invasion will be in DA5.

Or they will repeat DA2 for fast profit between the Inquisition and next DA5.

Everybody is a mage now, or will be, after you choose the green ending.

I'm sorry, I can't do Orlais. I can't take their accent seriously! I would not be able to play a character who has an Orlesian accent, or play a character surrounded by Orlesian accents. I just would not be able to. I would keep expecting them to start talking about wine and cheese, or maybe insulting Ferelden's smelly dogs. I wouldn't be able to do it.

I can't  stand  the Antivan and  the Orlasian accents - don't care for their cultures either. .. Would love to see an Elvan rebellion  (with attractive Elves only LOL) and more from the Dwarves.  Don't care much for the Qunari - so a Qunari massacre would be cool.

Qunari invasion of Tevinter, please. Or maybe Tevinter invasion of Par Vollen?

I'd rather not have a slave rebellion. Sounds way too much like it might turn out to be a morally black and white conflict. Also, I hope there won't be another Blight 'til at least Dragon Age 12. 'Saving the world' is incredibly boring.

The old dwarven capital city is closer to the tevinter imperium, so if the story is a tevinter/qunari plot there could be a good chance we visit it.

"It's closer to Origins in overall feel. It's bigger, it's bolder. It plays slower than [Dragon Age 2]. That said, there were some things for DA2 that I felt were very powerful. The characters I felt did a better job of having their own stories or agendas. So we held on to a lot of that. We wanted to make sure they had their own arcs, whether you were romancing them or just friends. The other big thing that we kept from DA2 is that combat in general feels responsive. I think DA2 was very successful in making you feel like oh, I tagged that guy and moved in, I punched him in the face. Some people would get annoyed because they thought I was dismissing Origins, but when your character took a long time to shuffle into position it was like, 'you're a trained warrior, you can do better.'"

That's good.

Optimistic!
