I'm personally not much of a fan of giving the player the power to completely restructure ancient and powerful regimes to their whim. Stinks too much of: "The Darkspawn couldn't do it, the slaves couldn't do it, Andraste couldn't do it, The Chantry couldn't do it, the Qunari couldn't do it, but I can because I'm the PC." It makes the world less believable to me.If we go to Tevinter, I hope we can remove it's current system of government and replace it with something that isn't despicable.

Unless Tevinter is already collapsing or on the verge of collapse due to other forces. Then the PC reshaping the nation wouldn't be that far fetched.

I want to lead the assault on par vollen in cooperation with the tevinter imperium to send the horned devils back across the sea to where they belong. (Then I will betray Tevinter and turn it into a Templar run state.)

Templar state right... you do realize that they're just regular soldiers?

I think he meant the Templars in every country but Tevinter who actually have anti-Magic powers.

Or maybe view it from a lens that isn't colored by Chantry propaganda. Cause you know tomato / toe-mah-toe. But some elitists just love their absolutes.

I'm not. It is a Social Darwinistic country full of slavery and blood ritual sacrifices. I will not support that nation as it is.

This might sound controversal, but I think personally I'd like to see the DA game after Inquisition be on a more smaller scale and personal, similar to DA2. I've been wondering lately how DA2 would've ended up had Kirkwall and it's surroundings been realized as a open world with frostbite.
Giving it some further thought, I think i'd like this hypothetical game to take place in either Antiva or Rivain. ![]()

Whatever. If you don't agree with it's evil. Everyone of your posts are like that. Dragon Age would boring as **** if the writers caved to your whim.

I'd like to go to Tevinter and Antiva, but screw Rivain. From what I've read on the wikia it's a dreadful place. Maybe once it's overrun by Qunari...

What are you talking about? Not even close to a large percent of my posts are like that.
And I say it'd be more boring if nothing ever changed. We are playing as characters who impact the world, so nothing ever changing makes the whole game essentially pointless.

I think it was more about the options than romance in general.
It was.
But Gaider reiterated, "And this is why I think we should eliminate the romances." because of the upset over options. He appeared to be thinking, "Strike the option completely."

I actually like this idea. I have a feeling that DA:I is almost going to be too grand. A simplier game next time, even another Awakening might be fun to tise us over until a bigger game is developed

I know in the Josephine thread we talked about how interesting a game would be if it was based in Antiva City, since so much happens there.

My preference would be to shift focus away from the character romances specifically and move it towards the characters themselves. They tried this time around, but not hard enough. Next time leave whether they're available for romance and their sexualities a complete mystery. This will allow the players to figure out for themselves while appreciating the characters from a narrative perspective and less from a I can hit that! self-interest.
Just my opinion. Some people may disagree.
