I'm looking forward to Tevinter and the rest of the north. It would be nice to see its society with our own eyes instead of just hearing all the bad stuff.

We could play a game about a guy who tried to help overthrow the Tevinter Empire but failed miserably.
How about that?

Oooh, just imagine the possible DA4 game in which we join the fight between Tevinter and Qunari and in the end we can choose the side or just leave them both
As some mercenary or sth
Just imagine showing these countries from both good (stability and equality in qunlands, chance to become important and advanced magic in Tevinter) and bad sides (communism-like strict government in qunlands and slavery/blood magic in Tevinter) from inside

It could end with a lot of people fighting to a standstill.

We need to know more about and actually go to
"Kal sharok"
Maybe in some DAI DLC.

I do hope that if we get to deal more with the Qun, that we have the choice to side with them. I know I would want to play at least one PC that does.
After all I am not sure how many people would like supporting an empire whose lively hood is dependent on slavery.

Whatever. If you don't agree with it's evil. Everyone of your posts are like that. Dragon Age would boring as **** if the writers caved to your whim.
Because the USA totally became "boring" after we eliminated slavery. ![]()

That would be awesome, plus being a cadash would make it even more interesting.

It was.
But Gaider reiterated, "And this is why I think we should eliminate the romances." because of the upset over options. He appeared to be thinking, "Strike the option completely."
This seems to be the default method for solving most problems. Rogues and Warriors play too similarly? Eliminate 3/4ths of the options for both, done. Character builds allow people to get out of the "most stereotypical character" box? Kill attribute allocation, put in tons of armor/weapon restrictions, and all it a day.

My problem isn't eliminating slavery. My problem is holding a rustic and fantastical society to our modern ideals. If Tevinter doesn't have slavery I wouldn't want to visit it. I want to hear Tevinters defend it as much as I want to hear them condemn it. And I want the opportunity to actually deliberate it's pros and cons from both an economic and ideological perspective. Forgive me for expecting more from DA's writing team.

Must we continue to bring real life history into discussion regarding a fictional setting?
Must we? Probably not. Tell you what- the day the people who want "realism" in combat and don't like toppling empires because it's "unrealistic" stop, I will too.

Templar state right... you do realize that they're just regular soldiers?
Who are just regular soliders? We have to get the free mage, blood magic, slave state of Tevinter under control. I envision a whole new set of large dark circles towers in which to house all the mages (the ones I do not make tranquil.)

Really? Cause from where I'm sitting, your problem appears to be that some of us want the option to eliminate or at least oppose it in the game. That's all Kouzuki asked for after all. Personally, I have faith that the writers can find plenty of other problems for us to solve should we choose to eliminate that one. If you choose otherwise, that's fine for you.

Antiva is in the middle of Tevinter and Rivain so I wonder if they are thinking 3 counties for Dragon Age IV. I'd be happy with just Tevinter though.
