I would absolutely love a game dealing with Tevinter/Qunari. Also more dwarves. Come on we have a whole other city to explore.

I hope the "Armored Tevinter Mages" concept art from the book (DA: World of Thedas) will make an appearance in the next DA game. Love the design.

Dragon Age 4: Black Flag.

Set in/around Rivain.

Your character becomes a raider captain.

There are naval battles and sea monsters.

Customize and name your ship.

What if we're pirates in the next game? Would give us a good way to get from country to country and explore a lot of areas.

I've been in love with the idea of visiting Nevarra since this codex entry:

The whole country is filled with artistry, from the statues of heroes that litter the streets in even the meanest villages to the glittering golden College of Magi in Cumberland. Perhaps nowhere is more astonishing than the vast necropolis outside Nevarra City. Unlike most other followers of Andraste, the Nevarrans do not burn their dead. Instead, they carefully preserve the bodies and seal them in elaborate tombs. Some of the wealthiest Nevarrans begin construction of their own tombs while quite young, and these become incredible palaces, complete with gardens, bathhouses, and ballrooms, utterly silent, kept only for the dead.

And after that, I'd love Antiva and Rivain. Then I don't care about the order, as long as it's someplace new.  :)

Ugh. f*ck Tevinter.

Do I get to flip out now the way anti-Chantry payers were over the announcement of Inquisition?

Would having a rebelling slave origin be too much like Andraste (Since I assume we'll end up rather powerful or with our own army or something)? Sort of a been there done that situation for Thedas?

If we end up working for the empire you' d be perfectly justified in doing so.

A conflict with the qunari seems the most likely, perhaps (regardless of the true cause of the rifts discovered by the inquisition) the qunari will blame the humans comparatively lackadaisical attitude towards magic/mages as being chiefly responsible for putting the whole world in danger from another demon invasion, and set off on another conquest.

The northern nations would be the front lines, but I'm starting to think Tevinter is too "restricting" and obvious. I think a smaller nations where your actions can either result in it falling to the Qun (paving the way for further conquest of the qunari) absorbed by Tevinter (signaling a return to becoming the dominant nation of Thedas again) or some tricky remain independent strategy might offer more flexibility in story telling.

Since we have a relative of the royal family in out Keep and they expanded on Nevarran lore so suddenly, I think that's be a DAI DLC venture.

No. I would hazard a guess that it's the Thedas version of the Arctic circle, though.

As much as I want Tevinter/Qunari war, I want Anderfels more, which is saying much since it is arguably the worst place to live in Thedas. I want to see Weisshaupt Fortress, Kal-Sharok, and heck even Hossberg. Give the Anders some love. And with Last Flight, we might get to see Griffons!

I've always wanted to visit Nevarra, but it would have gone best with Orlais, I think.  There's Anderfels, Tevniter, Antiva+Riva and FreeMarches+Nevarra.

Of the four, I'm actually most partial to Anderfels.  The accents won't be awful (hopefully) and there isn't much lore around.  Gives the developers a clean slate and let them make some awesome locations.  There's also Kal Sharok and Weisshaupt, so any game in Anderfels will probably have a more Darkspawn-centric plot.

FreeMarches and Nevarra would keep alive the chances of seeing the Aeonar, where I've always wanted to go.  (That's assuming we don't see it in DAI ofc.)  It's basically Azkaban, but with a super thin veil.  Also, Sketch was last seen in Free Marches and I still want him to make another appearance.

Rivain sounds like fun.. Somewhat exotic, different types of mages, and a big Qunari presence.

DAI will most likely have a cliffhanger or a dlc that gives us an inkling to what the next game will be about. My guess is that the game will be set in tevinter and feature a qunari invasion. Then again it is hard to guess without knowing the whole plot of DAI.

If they want to create a game set in one city, I hope they will do that like assasins creed, never played it but its wide open world. Yes i know some of them werent set in a city.. But if they will put it in one city, i would like to feel it is a real city, with corners everywhere to do what you want, Like kirkwall should've been btw sorry writing from iphone, but take starkhaven for example a city state that should be quite big, now imagine it as a wide open world, or take Kirkwall for example in Frostbite 3 wait somome said that already no? Anyway i like this idea, other than that, if we go somwhere north, i hope its Tevinter, I want to know more about Arlathan

I love the idea of a game set in Northern Thedas (Tevinter, Anderfels, Antiva, Rivain, and Par Vollen) and we are given the choice to either begin as a Tevinter Magister, non-mage/elven slave, or a Qunari invader.

It's odd to me that people are complaining so much about Tevinter slavery. In this game, we're going to Orlais, where 95% of people are serfs, hardly treated any better. It's a different word, but the practice is barely different. Still, I haven't seen a single thread about improving the lot of the common man. Sure, Mages, who can control the forces of nature and are provided a comfortable existence with access to the best libraries need be freed, and the Dalish need a homeland, but no one seems to care about the bulk of Thedosian society.
