FB3 is quite resourceful, you'll see.

I don't doubt FB3 is, I doubt that the crew in Edmonton is anymore. Especvially now that half of them have shoved off to Montreal. Sorry, but no faith left to the combination of Rushed Bioware Devs & Pushy EA Board

I would rather have DAO and DA2 with all DLC remastered and brought to current gen consoles than have DA4.

I'd pay for a remake of Origins with the current engine. Heck I just recently replayed it, and would likely play it a couple more times at least with a shiny new engine.

I don't want a remaster until the franchise is done.  Just fix what needs fixing in DA:I, add DLC content to keep me interested for a while, and sally forth unto creating DA4, please!

Not sure it would work as they'd have to rebuild the whole game from scratch on the Frostbite engine... plus, they'd have to rework the old hairstyle and you know what happened with DAI's hairstyles...

I don't think DA:O needs an upgrade. It think it still looks fine as it is. A bit dated, yes, but still fine.

I'd prefer a new game with the same UI, controls and gameplay.

No thanks, would prefer Bioware work on new content for Inquisition/ the next game.

If I want to play Origins, I can play Origins.

No thanks. That would mean they would use the engine from this game. And that means DA:I combat in DA:O. And the restrictions on DA:I to the character's too. No thanks. Just NO.

I would like to see a remastered version of DAO for the Xbox One and PS4 with Dragon Age Inquisitions engine.

I would like the story to stay the same but I just want it to be on current gen with a open world Ferelden.

I mean if Mass Effect is getting a remake I don't see a reason why we can't.

This would be brilliant! I still play DA:Origins on my PS3 along with all the dlc that was done for it. Would be great to have it all for the PS4 with perhaps a more open world feel like the op suggested.

If you can convince Bioware for this and that there are at least another 100,000+ people who feel the same way, then I'm sure they would at least consider it.

During N7 Day, BioWare asked what fans would like to see from a remastered ME trilogy.

They didn't confirm they were going to do it, just asking what people would like from it.

Hopefully, they'd fix the broken game play in ME1 and fix the broken story in ME2 and ME3.

The second part might be a little optimistic.

I would love to get my hands on a shinier version of Dragon Age Origins, I was replaying it after my first playthrough of Inquisition, and found myself remembering why I loved Dragon Age so much.

Origins is still my favourite of the franchise, and my second favourite game ever- first being of course Knights of the Old Republic.
Certainly Inquisition is an improvement in many ways, but the quests story and characters in Origins had more depth, more immersion and overall the game was more fun. Alas Inquisition felt less like Dragon Age, and more like SW TOR... not what I was expecting.

Surely with all the $$$'s they hauled in with Inquisition they can put some aside to give us Dragon Age Origins HD.
Come on Bioware, give us a remastered Origins, it's what all the cool kids are doing you know.

what's wrong with the combat just curious? I thought it was fine yes the animations looked cooler in DA2, after playing DA2 and DA:I the combat in DA:O feels slow not saying it's bad i just like it better in the other games

Over the top and cartoony to the point where it looks like it is made for 12 year olds. Utterly rotten AI for the companions. Tactics has been removed. Limited to only 8 abilities during a fight, for no good reason. Healing spells are gone. Almost no freedom when it comes to arming your character. No dual-wielding warrior, for example.

Fifa 15 actually has more options during a match, than DA:I (a so called tactical rpg) has during a battle. Just chew on that one. We have gotten to a point where an rpg has gotten so simplified that Fifa 15 is a more complex game.

So NO. I do not wish to see that crap being done to DA:O.

Since you asked :) Cheers.

Ah  thanks for pointing it out to me yeah i didn't think to hard about thought you just didn't like pace of animations or the animations felt sloppy or something. Yeah i agree with everything you said but the cartoony thing i just don't see it and well the no healing spells i hated at first but started to like now only if  nightmare was actually hard after you got to skyhold. now i think about it seems like they just got lazy getting rid of the tactics and trying to troll us with only 8 abilities

Don't get me wrong, though. It is perfectly ok if you liked it. Just listing why I didn't.

You had me till you said with DAI engine. I rather have DAO the same way with just prettier graphics and less quest bugs.

Why don't you just go to DA Nexus and download all the high rez textures, Advanced tactics, Improved atmospheres, better sex scenes, plus a bunch user created side quests,  and replay.  Hell you can even be a monk.  If you beg I may even borrow you my revenant sword, that's right I created a (mod)sword that when equipped.  Gave you revenant life drain, and the actives Pull and Mass Pull.

Alas, my point is you can play DAO anyway you wish there's so many mods, and I haven't modded or been involved in a few years, but I can only imagine that there is boat loads of redone environments and textures to modernize the look.

Its all the flash, sparkles, teleporting, extremely long jumps. Stuff like that. I can barely see what is going on during combat.

Combat is somewhat managable as a melee character UNTIL you lock on an opponent then the camera go's bonkers. Spinning wildly, missing hits that are right in front of you, spell effects all up in your face like you're at a rave its crazy. I play in real time so maybe its better in tac cam but as it stands its wonky as hell.

People talked about mods so 2 life changers for HD DAO:

1 - HD Texture mods.

2 - SweetFX. I was able to made presets as darks as Diablo 1 and as bright and coloful as Dragon Age Inquisition. This completely changes the game atmosphere. (Or just make small changes if you want)

Seriously, with this both, game is even more perfect than it was (and I don't even know how it is possible)
