Do we know enough yet about the skills in game that such a thing might even be possible?
I'm expecting to see a lot of Wombo Combo's!

Sorry, but that ain't falco. ![]()
I'm sure people will come up with combos of their own, but I don't know anything that would be following ME:MP's Combo explosions.

In one of the twitches, someone said that ice spells make follow up lighting spells do more damage, i hope this is true. I think weapon elementals can trigger them to.
Perhaps a 2 mage, warrior and rogue team? If there is a warrior kit that can lower guards or increase damage to a target (maybe even just keep the enemies certain close enough together with aggro) that'll be helpful and contribute to the combo, im thinking anything the rogue can add to damage over time and slow targets (caltrops?), the mages could simply keep pelting elemental combos? Ice + Lightning?

That is a good question, I've been wondering about this myself. All what I have gathered is that there are combos, since some skill descriptions mention that those abilities can be used as detonators against incapacitated foes for a combo. Also these combos seem to be a class based or there are class differences of some sort. All Mage skills which can detonate refer this as "Eldritch detonator ability", Warriors have "Impact detonators" and Rogues have "Precision detonators".
All combos seem to work against "incapacitated foes" though. No idea if this incapacitation is an universal term for all negative status effects or just some of them, or some unique condition caused by some particular skills or some other means (like landing a successful critical hit, or attacking a foe simultaneously with many characters, or do normal attacks have certain percentage of causing it. Or maybe by manipulating an environment in some way, such as leading enemies to traps, or what). So far no skill description I've seen mention that it would incapacitate foes.
Beyond this I have no idea how combos play out exactly*, and I would love to hear if anyone has any information about this.
*Besides the elementary that a skill / effect X will prime and a skill Y will detonate it, and this sequence does something more than X and Y would do individually.

From what I remember from the twitch stream, combos are the reverse idea of ME3. Instead of having the primer decides what will be the effect, it's now the detonator that do.
For example, you could use incendiary ammo in ME3 to prime for a fire explosion and any detonator would detonate that explosion, no matter if it was throw (botic), overload (tech) or concusive shots (no category). In DAMP, you prime the target by incapacitating them in any way you like then the detonator decides the effect. That way, mages detonates mages' types of explosion, rogues detonates rogues' types of explosion and you can do the math for warriors...
I think it's better this way. I was sad when I was playing a biotic and got fire explosions, or worst tech burst on armor, when I could have had biotic explosions. I play biotics for biotic explosions, not tech related ones. The way DAMP is doing it allows this kind of gameplay and I think it's a subtle thing that will have a great impact on your gameplay.
