So just as the title says why is the PC version only a download and no retail? To me it does not make any sense cause you would believe it would be more of them than the consoles.

They could at least offer us, the standard edition owners, an upgrade to the deluxe edition on origin.
Know? Short of EA I don't think anyone knows for sure. Personally, I think it's probably due to cost-benefit. Making a retail copy of the deluxe edition for consoles is probably an easier sell than one for the PC.

I just wish they made a retail deluxe cause I hate buying things online . I buy things from the PSN store only cause you can use a gift card? refill card? dunno the real term for it, to use to give your account money with it. If they made cards like those available to us for the origin store I would really consider it to buy from the origin store

I'm a bit confused too. Walmart sells it too and I had to go looking for the non-deluxe edition.

Yeah know the UK and EU have problems with that edition, but my local gamestop and such doesn't have a pyshcial copy of this edition already ordered.
So if your not in NA that could be the issue.
Just buy it digital, don't know what the deal is. 10/15 years from now you won't even be able to buy it physical, it's a waste of resources aside from the special collector's versions that have all the random stuff and one can argue that being an even bigger waste.

Well know the overseas places are having issues, part of why I asked if he over there. But yeah its been proving harder for folks over here to find the normal one.

People still have data caps and such, sometimes its easier to get a pysical copy if you do a lot of other stuff online is one reason, plus fast net is not avaiable in all areas in the U.S still.

If one live in Sweden like me you can't get the physical copy of the deluxe version, it seams. We'll have to wait for Origin to hopefully add an upgrade.
Oh. Sweden. That's sad. But what you could do. If buy a copy that's box isn't sold in sweden, I have a DA2 in French. As long as the language is supported, it doesn't matter what or where you bought the game from all you have to do is change the language.
