To avoid the inevitable flush of endgame spoilers or just spoilers in general? Or are you of the mind that it doesn't matter what gets spoiled? After the mess that was Mass Effect 2 and 3 being spoiled on the old forums, I forget if DAII was as well, I'm planning on leaving in the next few days to avoid something similar happening for Inquisition. Don't much care about spoilers for everything else, but for the ending(s)? I'll pass thanks. How many of you are also leaving? How many are staying? And most of all why?
How many of you are going dark in the coming week?

All my waking hours will be dedicated to beating the game. And maybe eating. Once in a while.
So I won't be here. It'll be tough on the boards, my absence. Please, go on without me.
I'll stop now.

I think I'll be as careful as possible while staying in the twitter thread and carefully going to the Blackwall thread long enough to learn how to recruit him ;P.

I'm going to but the game when it dips below £30 so I'm certainly going to spend less time here. I'll still be around but mostly on the ME or off topic sections.

Your absence will be sorely felt! Godspeed, good sir or ma'am! Godspeed! *small tear*

You are right at one weekish away from release and plenty of street date release breakage (probably???) , it is higly possible that spoilers abound on these forums .... by the Maker

Better abandon ship now. Tomorrow is the prologue livestream, and on Tuesday the review embargo expires, which means people who have completed the game will be talking about it all over the internet. I assume some spoilers, whether great or small, are imminent this week. ![]()

I'm not going anywhere until the game launches. I'm not afraid of spoilers. Especially as they relate to the overall plot. Anyone who has ever read or watched an epic fantasy storyline should know how this is going to go by now. We're going to save the world, defeat the big bad, etc etc... with a few permutations on that basic premise.
For me, the real game is in choosing how my particular story is going to be built. I'm ok knowing all the set pieces as long as I can arrange them, in fact it tends to help.

It's going to be tough but I think I'll spend time in the other forums arguing serious business like mages vs. templars or how much I disliked Anders. I might hook up with #cullenites and continue to play The Last Court and my 15th replay of Skyrim or tackle Arcanium. I may have one more Dragon Age replay in me but I've been burning the candles with those. /bummed as this is a good site when there isn't spoilers. I *might* peek once in awhile though
I could try to relearn Crusader Kings 2 with all the changes, but ...lazy.
It's sad .I have 300+ games of which I play less than 20, and all I can think about is this game.
I hate, hate, HATE spoilers.

As soon as the prologue stream starts tomorrow I'm out of here until after I've played it next Thursday. I will still be trying to avoid major spoilers until the game comes out over here on 21st November.

I'm not watching any more live streams, and once EA Access goes live I'm out of here until I finish my first playthrough.

Gah, very very true. Guess I'll be bowing out sooner than I thought. Oh well, the Star Citizen forums will be a welcome respite while I go through withdrawal symptoms from leaving this one.

Not me, as long as the spoilers aren't about major plot points I don't really care. Some people take the whole spoiling thing way too far, not wanting mount names or areas spoiled... like, seriously? I know everyone is different but...

I considered waiting until Xmas since that's when I'll be playing DAI but I guess I'll just watch streams instead cry because I don't own a PS4 yet. On Xmas day, however, I'll be enjoying this game so bad.

I'll try, but then again I'll probably last about 5 minutes before I'm back and searching for spoilers. While the CDC might not recognize it, BSN is an addiction that I can not get over.

You're smart to leave sooner rather than later if you truly want to avoid those spoilers. I love spoilers and gobble them up any chance I get. I find they make me anticipate and enjoy the game even more if I know what to expect, but that's due to my personality mostly since I hate surprises. My friends and family know to NEVER throw me a surprise party. ![]()
