I can't - I gotta obsess until the game comes out. Dear lord, Monday is going to be awful - I'm going to the midnight release.

 

I'll try to avoid spoilers if I can, but I can't leave the DA internet.

You're smart to leave sooner rather than later if you truly want to avoid those spoilers. I love spoilers and gobble them up any chance I get. I find they make me anticipate and enjoy the game even more if I know what to expect, but that's due to my personality mostly since I hate surprises. My friends and family know to NEVER throw me a surprise party.

Thing is I'm usually the kind of person who needs everything spoiled as well, I can't tell you how many books I've read where I've stopped half way through to read the ending or a summary online before continuing. However I noticed my choices tend to change while playing these sorts of games when I already know the end game, so for the first playthrough I want to be completely and utterly unbiased for the end. After that? GIMME MY SPOILERS FOR THINGS I MISSED.

I'm dipping out on Monday. BW is doing a prologue stream, and that's something I want to see myself - and I figure now that it's been streamed people will talk about it as if it wasn't a spoiler.

So yeah, I'm going dark.

Better abandon ship now. Tomorrow is the prologue livestream, and on Tuesday the review embargo expires, which means people who have completed the game will be talking about it all over the internet. I assume some spoilers, whether great or small, are imminent this week.

I'd originally intended to leave at the end of the week, but in this case it looks like I'm leaving early! Like tonight! Thanks for the heads up, I probably wouldn't have known until it was too late.

With embargos expiring and me being in the UK (and having to wait for delivery), I'm not hanging around anymore. I've rarely been checking the DA forum lately, although I have watched some of the earlier streams Bioware have done (which have been pretty great IMO, definitely like seeing that or YouTubers playing/talking about the game than the useless spate of misinformed articles from 'games journalists' we had this year).

 

I've got stuff to keep me occupied. Have fun, people.

Why would anyone want to go dark at this point? There are already plenty of spoilers both in the forums and in the media. People wanting to go dark have (or at least should have) done so a week or two ago.

I'm going to but the game when it dips below £30 so I'm certainly going to spend less time here. I'll still be around but mostly on the ME or off topic sections.

 

Are you getting the PC version? If so you can already get it for ~£25 (in the UK) if you know where to look

In a sense I already have. I haven seen any videos, articles and avoided specific threads over the last month and a half. You can still post on BSN, just pick your area and threads wisely. As for the EA access I think I'm going to avoid scuttlebutt completely once that goes live.

There was brief banter during angry joes video about the ashes but that got cut short, but we do know there will only be referances not cameos by them. Think they said that away back, so there is what is widely known.

Probably going to go on a full media blackout on the 16th since that's when I'll be able to download DA:I on my PS3.  There's only one thing I really care about spoiler-wise, and I really don't want it spoiled, so I'll be ignoring the majority of BSN until my full media blackout.

When ME3 had the massive leak, I managed to avoid any spoilers, going to tempt fate again. 

 

Edit: Also going to be playing Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Assassins Creed: Unity and Assassins Creed: Rogue; so hopefully they'll keep me preoccupied.

I won't read lengthy reviews, and likely stay away from forums so ending and major story arcs wont be spoiled. Although I do want to see the overall scores of the game. Going to be rough to avoid spoilers

To avoid the inevitable flush of endgame spoilers or just spoilers in general? Or are you of the mind that it doesn't matter what gets spoiled? After the mess that was Mass Effect 2 and 3 being spoiled on the old forums, I forget if DAII was as well, I'm planning on leaving in the next few days to avoid something similar happening for Inquisition. Don't much care about spoilers for everything else, but for the ending(s)? I'll pass thanks. How many of you are also leaving? How many are staying? And most of all why?

 

I'll stay (well, continue to check in regularly that is - got other things to do as well) - I don't have a problem with spoilers (hell, I like them - as for me the way is more important than the destination (that's like saying you should not go somewhere to visit because you have seen the location in a photo/in a movie already -.-))
