It helps that work will be keeping me busy this week, but I think I'm also out. I've more or less kept to the Twitter thread for the past week or so since all the videos started coming out, but with the reviews and Access and the apparent prologue stream this week, as careful as most people have been to this point, even that thread gets pretty chatty with big info drops and I just don't want to chance it. What constitutes a spoiler to me might not to someone else.
How many of you are going dark in the coming week?

I'm surprised I've stuck around this long. I love the feeling of jumping straight into a story without knowing what to expect and usually avoid spoilers like the plague but I can't seem to control myself when it comes to Bioware games! Planning on leaving before the embargo is lifted and will try to exercise some self-control for the next Bioware game by avoiding everything after the initial announcement.

Honestly I usually love soaking up every bit of spoilery information possible before a game release. But I've decided to take a different turn with DA:I, I'm going to go in blind, no spoilers, no walkthroughs. Much like my first playthough of Origins.
So I'll possibly be going dark in the following weeks and most likely going mad as a result. ![]()

I've held up well so far and am surprised I'm still here.
- The 'achievements leak' was fine in the end
- The art book leak I managed to avoid
- The Angry Joe Prologue gameplay I stopped at the start
- I won't be tuning in to Monday's Twitch (a first)
I will read the reviews on Tuesday - they all have spoiler embargo lists from Cameron.
Into EA Access on Thursday so that will keep me off the grid.
The biggest issue is probably illicit early access to physical copies and those folk pushing ahead through the main plot line.
Then posts of 'what about XXX death' and 'what about XXX in the ending' popping up.
Though I still hope for very little to discuss because if there is any issue with the ending (I don't think there will be)
then that would hit like a tidal wave, spoiler tags or not.

Planning on going mostly dark after the Xbox One exclusive is released, but if the forums start talking willy-nilly about the prologue stream earlier than that, I'll bow out then. Will still follow a select few topics I am subscribed to unless they get spoilery, but I'll avoid the main forum listings. Will unfollow DA tumblers if they don't tag their spoiler stuff well too, but so far the ones I have are pretty good about it and I've already blacklisted a slew of different spoiler related tags.

Starting tomorrow...
Which is good, because that just means the game is that much closer to release (little over a week...can't believe it). But...its bad because I know that people will post spoilers out there...some do it on accident, but some do it for no other reason than to ruin other people enjoyment.

Do you think it's safe to keep reading @dragonage Tweets? How long before they start tweeting spoilers? My first playthrough is going to take forever and I want to avoid spoilers but I also want to know when DLCs or other official news come out.

Today's probably my last day. I'll still be hanging around the off-topic forums, but I don't want to be spoiled on any of DAI's story. I got burned twice on Mass Effect 2 - once by the forums and again by the art book - and have no intention of repeating that disappointment.

Today's my last day.
I already sorta feel like I've seen at least a quarter (or more) of DA:I's beginning, so I'd rather not see the entirety of it. Thus no stream for me. Would rather not read reviews or hear about people playing through early access, either. BSN will probably be a minefield too.

I've actually taken care of all the business I need, broken up with my girlfriend, killed my dog, burned down my house and I plan on moving into the swamps of southern Louisiana until the game is launch. How am I posting this you ask? From my phone of course, this will be my last post before I throw my phone out the window of the bus I'm on. Assume all other posts by me from now until launch are by this homeless guy I'm going to try and hit with it. HERE WE GO!

I'll be around all the way. Spoilers doesn't bother me at all and I know well enough to not click on every thread in case I suddenly do want to avoid some. Worked very well in the past

Spoilers don't bother me one bit, tbh. I start a new job tomorrow and I have several weeks of long training hours to keep me busy, but I'll be taking the time to watch whatever vids I can all the same.

I give thanks to my Lord and Savour Jesus Christ for blessing me with a large multitude of things to do over the next two weeks, such as fulfillments of client requests and schoolwork. ![]()

Staying.
I like seeing other people's opinions about the game and certain aspect of it. Provides some unique perspective or reveal things I may have missed at certain points.

To avoid the inevitable flush of endgame spoilers or just spoilers in general? Or are you of the mind that it doesn't matter what gets spoiled? After the mess that was Mass Effect 2 and 3 being spoiled on the old forums, I forget if DAII was as well, I'm planning on leaving in the next few days to avoid something similar happening for Inquisition. Don't much care about spoilers for everything else, but for the ending(s)? I'll pass thanks. How many of you are also leaving? How many are staying? And most of all why?
Crud. I guess I'm going to have to go dark. When does it come out?

Pretty much am.
Have already quit watching new videos. Would prefer to play the game myself and discover it that way instead of watching someone else play the game and have no surprises left.

Today is my last day on this forum and other sites. Halo comes out tonight and I'm going to keep busy with that. I'm not risking getting spoiled.
