The Cumberbatch as main protagonist and I'm instantly sold. But I'd also love to see Mark Meer return in some capacity.

No celebrity voice actors, no Nolan North or Troy Baker (they are in every game).

 

Having said that, Alix Wilton Regan and Claudia Black should have significant roles in the next ME.

I agree on Nolan North and Troy Baker but I would want to hear Laura Bailey as female not-Shepard... and Oriana Lawson.

Not sure if Jennifer Hale can do it. Her voice stands out too much, even with a different accent.

Not the best example IMO. I immediately thought of Jane Shepard the moment this guy started to talk. Guess it's a testament to her skill as a voice actor.

There was another video in response to my original post that showed a lot of voices Jennifer Hale did and some of those were completely different.

@Vazgen: Do I understand you correctly there that you want Bailey and Xen as squad mates? That might be cool (depending on the scenario of course) but otherwise, I wouldn't be a fan of having Hogan or Black as voices for someone else. I think their voices are too distinctive.

 

If we are gonna go with familiar faces as squad mates, I want Adam Baldwin as Kal'Reegar. I know he is supposed to be dead but still, I want him.

 

As for new suggestions, I am not that familiar with the world of voice actors, so not many come to mind.

For example, I know Nolan North voices pretty much everything that has audio content but I think a more lighthearted Nathan Drake like character with his voice could fit well into an exploration oriented ME Next. In ME3, all the squad mates were very serious (which admittedly fit the scenario). Let's have some lighter tones for the next ME, not a comedian, just a more relaxed guy/girl.

I also always liked Michael Ironside. A shame he is no longer Sam Fisher. Maybe he could be in ME?

 

And of course, we need the obligatory mention of Patrick Steward, who should generally be in everything.

 

Oh, also, I would love to see (or rather hear) Edward James Olmos as an Admiral. Not sure if he'd do video games though.

The real question is who is Mr. Sarah Michelle Gellar going to voice over? But then again it would be sad, funny, and ironic if she and Freddy voiced over a married couple as characters in game.

I was listening  to Blunt's singing in 'Into the Woods' and I was thinking that if Bioware got her to voice the next ME protaganist I would probably have to become religious.

A character actor well known for his number of onscreen deaths introduced into a videogame franchise sensationised by the furore around the number of endings where the central protagonist dies. No you're right, how could that be relevant....
