A character actor well known for his number of onscreen deaths introduced into a videogame franchise sensationised by the furore around the number of endings where the central protagonist dies. No you're right, how could that be relevant....

Did you read my comment it said antagonist, it had nothing to do with the protagonist. So please don't twist anything I say out of context.

It's entirely possible I mis-read it yes ;)

However my comment was more an observation on the atypical fate of Sean Bean's characters than necessarily getting into the minefield of the ending again.

Oh, and one more, but I'll let you guess who it is.

Edit: Tara Strong would be interesting. Also Traynor's VA.

I hope they stick to the trend of casting actors from Sci Fi movies and television series in various roles. On that note, how about Steven Lang?

I'd love to see:

Neil Patrick Harris, I love him in HIMYM and he voiced Spider-man in Shattered Dimensions so he's been in a video game previously. He'd make a good Salarian.

Steve Buscemi as someone already mentioned. Has undoubtedly the perfect Salarian voice.

John Goodman as a Krogan.

Nathan Fillion as a human (perhaps the protagonist?). He was in 2 Halo games, so he's definitely not a stranger to video games.

Zachary Levi as a human squad mate and a bit of a scoundrel. He was in F:NV.

If he's up for it, I think it would be awesome for Freddie Prinze Jr. to get a chance at being nonShep in this game, after successfully bring a lot of fun and energy to 2 characters in previous bioware games. Also, if possible, to get Sarah Michelle Gellar in on the action, even if it's only a small part.

Javier Bardem for a drell. After his voice is put through a filter I bet our ears will explode from the sound of it.

Imagine this voice made deeper to sound like a drell...

I definitely want Mark Meer back.

Freddie Prince JR just needs to be there, that guy is awesome.

Having Gideon Emery would be really nice too.

And oh my god, I know it won't happen, but Tyler Hoechlin. If that guy is in this game, it's sold for me (even though it's already sold for me anyway). And if he voiced a romance option, I think I would die from excitement.

If they bring back familiar acts like Ali Hillis or Freddie Prinze Jr, assuming of course that they aren't reprising past roles, I hope they cast them as aliens who have the whole voice filter thing going. As much as I'm a fan of both of their work in the ME series, it would be a bit jarring to hear Liara or Vega's voice coming from a character that isn't Liara or Vega. Casting them as other characters could work however they are playing a Turian or Drell.

Do you think of Vega when you talk with Iron Bull?

The guy who does Archers voice, I forget his name,

A Shepard type/Archer type Renegade protagonist.

Dear Santa, that;s what I want for christmas.

Simon Templeman. He's awesome. I can't hear him without thinking of Kain, though, so it would have to be a small role, or something super-badass and worthy of the voice. He popped up quite a bit in ME.

I really don't want to hear a bunch of recycled voices in the next game. If the VA can drastically alter his or her voice, I'm okay with repeat talent. I expect it, in fact. I still recall the first time Kaidan started speaking in the opening scene of ME. I thought "WTF? Karth?". It took nearly the full playthrough to accept Kaidan's voice as Kaidan. Now, of course, it's humorous to look back at that.

Sort of. He sounds like Vega affecting a huskier voice.

It's not an issue however, because Vega and the Iron Bull exist in entirely separate universes. You shouldn't have major characters in the same game universe however who sound exactly alike, IMO. That's the issue I'd have with Ali Hillis or Freddie Prinze Jr playing characters not named Liara or Vega in a Mass Effect sequel.

To be fair some voice actors are like chameleons with their vocal range and can get around that by altering their voice for different roles. Mark Meer with the Vorcha is one example, and Claudia Black with Matriarch Aethyta is another. But not every VA is capable of that. Most aren't.

Unless either one is able to alter their voice just as well, I'd rather they voiced characters with the voice filter effect going on, if they were brought back at all.

I immediately thought of James when I first spoke with Bull. I was mildly annoyed, since I think James is awesome. I got used to it, though. Prinze has done very well with both characters, but especially Vega.

Those versatile VAs who completely alter their voices amaze me. I don't really read the credits, and I'd never recognize some of them, if it weren't pointed out by others in these forums.

He does have an awesome voice, and he definitely has that Drell-sound going naturally. I've never seen that film, but I think I'd be scared to death in that old man's position. What a strange encounter.

How about Patrick Stewart?

It would be in keeping with Bioware casting a lot of actors known for roles in Sci Fi television series/movies.

I trust Caroline Livingstone and the ME:Next Leads to find the perfect voices for their characters. Bioware has never let us down when it comes to casting great voice actors and getting great performances from them.

After playing DA:I, I want to hear some accents. Alix Wilton Regan, Allegra Clark and Miranda Raison has great accents that made their characters really unique. As little plain English as possible for the next ME, please.

The voice of Fenris - Emery Gideon -  in one of the LI for females. Seriously, with that voice I can ignore any bad personality trait or ugly face....

And I did like the male british voice of the Inquisitor... And the actress for Vivienne...
