Hai Guyz,

I recently upgraded from Win7 to Win8.1 on my Asus laptop in order to get rid of a nasty virus. When I upgraded, my wireless connection started dropping on a regular basis. I rarely go an hour without my signal dropping, even though my router is less than ten feet away from my laptop. I tried upgrading all my drivers, updating my firmware, and even restarted and rebooted my router several times, but to no avail. Is there anything else I can try?

Also, I broke my ethernet port by getting sand in it during field training, so using an ethernet cord isn't an option.

You can try changing your wifi channel and see if that helps.

Well, you may want to replace your router and as for the ethernet port, get it repaired.

You can also attempt to hurt the laptop's feelings by slapping it or by making it play Justin Bieber.

I tried using a different driver for my wireless adapter. Asus has 7 of them listed on their support website. So far I haven't had any drops today. knocks on wood. However, I think my Logitech mouse is broken.

Button problems? I've had trouble with Logitech mice myself.

Don't buy expensive mice. Buy A4Tech ones... cheap, multifunctional and good looking.
