How can you feel nothing but spite for the inquisition when it was formed literally moments before you joined...?
This also means that, unlike with the Grey Wardens, you get to mold the Inquisition's morality to your hearts content. Rather then being a part of an organization with over a thousand years of history you are now part of an organization, the most important part, that just formed. Its like being George Washington in a way when he assumed the Presidency of the USA. The USA was a brand spankin new country and his ideals and policies went a long way in shaping its future.
I just finished watching the stream and I still have goosebumps - the founding of Inquisition was so beautiful and sad in the same time - the music was breathtaking. I loved it.
I sort of wish they kept the "You're going to throw me with a catapult " line .
Yeah, I think the only possible criticism I could muster up is that your character seems awfully serious all the time which, as someone who doesn't take a lot seriously, is hard to relate to.
Then again, it's not like it's a light-hearted situation to be in. ![]()
Lol at how flat the Inquisitor was when we saw Corypheus and the Divine. "What's going on here?"
Oh nothing. I just have one of the most powerful people in Thedas squirming. Carry on.
I don't think its him i think a plot device to not show who killed her right at the beginning the game and add mystery and I'd like to think our inquisitor wouldn't be like whats going on when some ugly mofo doing weird magic and technically he should be in a different body but maybe he found a way around it

This right here, It was gorgeous ![]()
As for the found of the Inquisition most people are asying its gorgeous, and it looked gorgeous, but I really could not get into it because my video was stopping every...other...minute. >.<
? How do you have spite for the inquisition? It just started existing. If you are referring to the Chantry, we aren't leading it and aren't really associated with it.
Apart from Josephine, all founding members are ardent Chantry loyalists. The values and beliefs are all the same either way.
I'm just waiting for the youtube peepz to upload. FASTER YOUTUBE PEEZ FASTER.

Varric and Solas were kinda light hearted and Cassandra is Cassandra
Perhaps this thread should be moved to the "story and characters" forum!?

Odd that Cassandra is being reffered to as an ardent Chantry loyalist when she...

I agree.
That prologue was magnificent, and the Music!
Also it was really nice to hear how Sumalee sounds as the Inquisitrix.
Was great! Cassandra was awesome, total badass. Love her.
American voice was wonderful. I may have a hard time choosing between the two.
Qunari female is huge!
fem Inquisitor walked like a dude in cute scenes. I know it's just a nit, but it'll bug the hell out of me.
Like the dialogue options and how diverse they seem to be. Hopefully can get some really good character building RP moments.
This and the Angry Joe first Impressions was the first stream that really made the combat look fun.
Solas is great. Love is voice and attitude.
The final where the Inquisition is formed took my breath away. Glad they showed it. The music sells it!
There are some minor quibbles, but all in all if the rest of the game and story are this good, the game is going to be great.
No, considering we are talking about the game and this is prerelease promotion the same as all the other threads like this.
Character and story forum has nothing worth going to it anyway.

I'm sure you'll have the chance to bash their religion in game. In the steam there were
****, i missed it because people were keeping me busy, THIS IS WHY I HATE PEOPLE ![]()
I would say Cassandra and Leliana are, if anything, supports of what the Chantry should be. Not what it actually is at this moment in time.
But they are clearly being set up as an almost vigilante type group at this moment.
I think it'll be interesting to see how the whole "campaign to find a new Divine" turns out in the game now. The Inquisition's authority is given by the old Divine, but how will things be if a new Divine is chose who does not support the Inquisition?
I swear, I was waiting for the renegade Interrupt that would allow the Qunari to snap the Chancellors neck. I honestly believe he's working for the bad guy, just everything about him screams 'Traitor' to me.
Also, from 0 to spiders in 30 seconds flat. Impressive
Thoughts?
And also while Leiliana is one of the hands of the Divine and what not she wasn't perfectly fond of the Chantry back in Origins and the same can be said for the Chantry's view of her. I just get the feeling that the Chantry is divided into a 'conservative' and 'progressive' wing (for lack of better terms) and the progressive wing was mostly wiped out at the breach leaving free rein to the Conservatives to basically tell everyone to go eff themselves. So even though Leilianna might be fond of the Chantry I doubt that situation will last for long given their new leadership.

Well as a previous video has already shown:
That Chancellor Roderick guy is basically Udina 2.0, isn't he? Do we really needed yet another obstrusive bureaucrat type?
Only if we can slit his throat, so far that throat slash animation has proven to be very brutal. As far as murder knives go, the Warden likes stabbing, Hawke likes throwing, and Inquisitor likes slashing, I hope the fourth one is disembowelment
Even more amazing than I thought it would be! Waiting for someone to stick it up on youtube before watching again. Only thing that bugged me was they kept turning down the sound from the game and Mike and Cameron kept talking over bits of party dialogue, but no surprise there lol.
Only 3 more days until I can play the beginning of the game myself. *screams* ![]()
