I'm a lady,    and I have the same problem as you, so I've been refreshing youtube a lot after the stream. I was glad to see the one I linked, since it's the entire stream!

 

@realguile It has increased my hype even more...which I didn't think was possible.

The prologue didn't seem spoiler heavy to me. All it does is set the tone for the rest of the game.

I mean of course my automatic assumption is Warden & Hawke who must be in hiding or something but then I think maybe I'm reaching too much because I want that to be true. lol I didn't recognize the locations, so I think maybe I must just be missing something that's obvious to everyone else.

I'm fairly certain the raven went to Redcliffe. Looked like the Hinterlands and Redcliffe Castle to me for the second raven. First one - no idea.

It looked like the first one went to a templar HQ, and the second perhaps to a Circle of Magi IMO.  I may be wrong, however.

I think she was just "announcing the Inquisition" to her agents or other relevant people who might help. Same with the notice Cullen nails on the door.

What I don't understand is why would she send a raven to Redcliffe and not you know Denerim, the capital of the country they're in. Unless the royal family is there for some reason instead of the capital.

I actually assumed it was the Templars and Mages that she sent the letters to. One of the places had Templar heraldry all over it. Plus Redcliffe is under the control of mages, judging by the Alexius (E3) demo.

Maybe not, though. That could be a ways into the game, and Redcliffe was shut down internally to prevent any of the violence from coming inside. Also, we saw apostate hide-aways in caves. I think the Venatori stuff comes later in the game.

So I ended up watching a bit of it to see if I liked the American voice, i wanted to use it for my serious elf... But now I'm worried it's going to be really jarring...

Do you guys think the American voice could work for an elf?

I think it's pretty clear she's sending them to the Templars and mages. We know the Mages are using Redcliffe as a base and the other Fortress had Red Templar banners, which is a bit concerning, but whatever. They are the most immediately useful and important and we know from a different stream that the Inquistion does reach out to both of them very early on but both reject them at first
