Anyway i think is incredible. We saw xOne/PS4 versions, PC ultra and even a comparison Ultra vs Low Settings on pc.. and only 6 days before the release, no one single screen or something of old-gen ones xD Nice job EA and BW

Even pirates are not interested in this version. ;-)

 

To be fair: 6 days before release I didn't see one single screen of Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox One. Only PS4 footage.

The tactic of not showing last gen isn't exclusive to EA or Bioware. Loads of developers don't bother showing last gen gameplay anymore.

I think the best explanation is simply they want to show the game at its best, and only at its best. Which is certainly not on last gen. The best I can tell you, is simply look up ps3/ps4 comparison videos of battlefield 4 on youtube. That will give you at least an idea of what to expect because it's the same engine, frostbite 3.

I saw a comparison video PS3 vs PS4.

 

Its really really bad. Worse than PC Low.

 

 I also hear that Dialogue frequently cuts out and severe pop ins. I was told by someone currently playing it on last gen. I really feel its unacceptable. I did not expect it to be as good as next gen but I did not expect it to be worse than last gen games, especially worse than last gen games with big open worlds. it looks like slightly better Dragon age Origins. it doesn't look better than Dragon age 2....

 

Take it as you will. I think its a shame.
