If the theory that they're elves who got modified with dragon blood is true then I'm guessing their hybrids default the way elves do.

So that'd be

qunari + human = human

qunari + elf = elf

qunari + dwarf = ???????? (since it's never actually been clarified what a canon elf dwarf mix would be)

True, but we're hardly trying to impose wholly real world genetics here. There are established genetic tendencies within the lore, and we're trying to speculate within the context of that lore.

True true. It's just I hear a lot if talk about genetics here.

So far we know:

Human + Elf = Human

Dwarf + Elf = Dwarf

Human + Dwarf = Half-dwarf

I speculate that present-day Qunari are actually the product of thousands of years of careful cross-breeding of the original race, likely with humans and possibly with elves and dwarves as well. If that's true, then Qunari should be able to reproduce with other races, though we don't know the precise details.

human + elf = human

however, elven blood runs in the child's veins if the child's mother is an elf; which brings me to this question....what happens when huma kids born from elven mothers breed with each other? Surely there's a probability that their offspring can be an elf

Why are people saying elf + dwarf = dwarf? Did one of the comics say that or one of the books?

Probably because human + Elf = human.

That and the fact that Elven lifespans are purportedly effected by the mere proximity to lesser beings.

It makes people surmise that elves have absurdly weak genes.

I seem to recall Gaider saying that elf+X=X, where X is equal to anything that they're capable of actually producing offspring with.

Nah.

All our attempts to define the science off Thedas aside, this comes down to the making it as easy as possible for Bioware to write/design characters.

Human genes win, in all KNOWN instances.

We don't know about Qunari.

I remember that being said about their children with humans, but do you have a source for it being said about them and the other races?

Qunari + Elf= A more nimble and pointy eared Qunari who excels at poverty.

Here is where it's said that elf + dwarf = dwarf, (edit: check the bottom of page two since the link isn't going directly there) and the explanation for that given on the next page doesn't seem like it would contain any exception for qunari or any other race they can breed with. (Assuming, of course, that they can breed with qunari.)

I saw somewhere some some thing not sure what that woman is/kossith mix I think...one moment...

Yup this one.I'm usure what exactly this woman is(since i never read full comic) but these wings kinda confuse me...so she is not human for sure.Still I did find out that they are parents of kids so whatever this woman is she is no kossith and that kid is still hybrid in here.

This is a panel from "Saga" a comic with no connection to dragon age. I'm not sure that the genetics of two alien species can be applied to kossith.
