That's one thing I'm really curious about. I want to play a qunari, but I need to see how much their horn clipping in bed cutscenes bothers me. I assume they'll just have the horns clip through pillows in game. Perhaps qunari PCs and IB **** standing up, of course. But, (MINOR SPOILER IF THIS BOTHERS YOU, YOU ARE BAFFLING) there's still a scene early in the game where the Inquisitor is lying down. So, yeah, we'll see.

 

As opposed to how they sleep lorewise, no idea. I suspect on their stomachs, like ungulates.

Although, from what I've seen the Inquisitor was face-down during that part, possibly because they wanted to avoid clipping. Though I could be misremembering.

If it bothers you, pick a horn type that doesn't have backward horns. 3, 4, and 5 will do.

Almost makes you surprised that they didn't make only short horns because of clipping issues.

Well, it's solved then, qunari are somehow capable of sleeping on their backs with large backwards pointing horns. It looked weird is the least I can say.

They could sleep on massage tables, just stick the horns through the face hole...

However they sleep it would be physically uncomfortable for a non qunari

I just assumed the Qunari were like the Coneheads:  If they have a bed, it's nailed to the wall, and they sleep standing up...

The solution is simple: old-style Dutch 'closet beds':

 

 

This girl is still fairly young, an adult male would have to sit almost fully upright, with a couple of cushions in the back. Problem solved.

In the old days, there was also an ideological reason for these kinds of beds, lying down flat was associated with death, hence the preference for an upright sleeping position.

It was hilarious, but I'm fine with it. Definitely better than clipping, for me, personally, although I'm sure not everyone agrees..

Perhaps the reason hornless qunari are so feared is that they aren't hampered by crippling neck pain and stiffness.

If you have uber curved horns that go upwards like the Arishok, wouldn't that risk scooping up the pillow when you get out of bed?

But from today's video's looks like horns sort of prop up the head sense they have no nerves doubt its much of an issue.

That's what I was talking about, it looks weird. I supposed you sleep like that, but you'd probably wake up with one hell of a stiff neck and end up looking at your shoes all day.
