What will you all be naming your Elven inquizzys ?

My first elven female mage, her name will be Celeste  (seeing as the inquisitor falls from the heavens xD I know its the fade their falling from...but hey,the heavens is up there)

That's currently the only name I have planned so far haha.

Lin'Mi.  Trans: 'Blood blade'.

Only have 3 Inquisitors planned atm (1 Dalish, 1 Qunari, and 1 Cadash), so I don't really have any other names planned.  All the names of my future Dalish Inquisitors will be in Elvish.  Not to mention that the names of all my Qunari Inquisitors will be in Qunlat.   ^_^

I don't have any other Dalish names planned atm.

I have a few other names for different races however

Inan translates as eyes or in literal context: inside place or dwelling place

My first elven Inquisitor, a male elven mage, will be named Revas. It's elven for 'freedom'. It best represents the driving attribute that embodies who this person is, and what separates him from the shemlen who see nothing wrong with the subjugation of the elven people.

Some important-sounding Dalish name that symbolizes what I hope she'll do for the People.

I've planned out three potential elven Inquisitors: Samahl (means "laugh" in the elven language), Mana (means "long time" or "distant past" in the elven language), and Tathas (meaning unknown, possible name for a fictional elven hero created by a CE Warden).

I'll probably do at least one of them... I mean, Solas only being available to women kind of threw a wrench in my plans. Same thing with Cass being straight. And though I was originally going to play Mana pining over Vivienne, the more I see of her pro-establishment views, the less I like her, which saddens me.

Whatever characters I don't use for DAI, I'll probably be able to recycle for DA4, though, so it's not a total waste.

I've narrowed it down to two names.

Manera - a combination of "mana" which means past or long time, and "era" which means dream or story. Basically means a long-time dream.

Or Suledin, which means "endure."

I'm leaning more toward Suledin.

My female rogue will be Enna. Born as a city elf but adopted by the clan at a very early age, thus the fairly non-elven name ;)

In the end I didn't come up with anything all that great so I just named him Cammen... it sounds good even if the original Cammen wasn't all that impressive... xD

Syra, which means acid in swedish. A testament to her acidic tongue an sarcastic responses to others, tried to find an elven name for her but didn't find something that felt particularly right to pronounce.

Finally settled on Revera; a loose combination of elven words revas ("freedom") and era ("dream, tale, time"), which loosely translates to "a dream of freedom." (I didn't go with Revas'era because it sounds too much like "Rey-vah-sera," which is both too much of a mouthful and reminds me of Sera.)

EDIT: It also sounds like the word revere, which seems fitting since everyone in the game seems to revere you as the Herald of Andraste at best, the instrument of salvation to deliver the world from chaos at least, as the game goes on. -_-
