I watched the first part thing (the one that didn't have shameful ''Shippuden'' in the name) and it was amusing. My nephew let me know of it. Quite the anime chap, he is. I just couldn't stand Shippuden. And I care about it no more. Glad it ended. The episodes were like a plague.

The whole entire Sakura/Sasuke thing has me scratching my head however. I know she always fancied him but how could she just forgive and forget everything he did.

Meh, that was an lame ending, half of the plotlines were left unresolved and the moral themes are contrieved as ever. I dropped the series after the pain arc and only came back to see how it ended. I feel like I lost an couple of brain cells reading those final chapters.

I lost touch with it after Pain's death...... The original Naruto was WAY better in my books

Now, if we can find a way to end Bleach, then we can save anime forever. You see, without the shonen seal protecting it, the moe genre will get utterly destroyed as a result of the evil energy it creates. Without moe around, we'll get more stuff like Ghost in the Shell. When more stuff like Ghost in the Shell exists, the quality of anime as a whole will rise. With the quality rising, anime will become more and popular. With anime becoming more popular, funding for anime will increase tenfold. After all that money is poured in, the anime industry will become a lot like the video game industry. There will be a golden age of about a decade, and then blatant consumerism and advertising will become the way. When this happens, there will be even more money in anime. Eventually, anime will become the fifth largest financial entity in the world! Then people will eventually become bored of it, and sales will plummet. After that, it will get a revival thirty years later when it's in it's purest form.

 

This is but the first step of many...

After seeing the two paired together, I seriously believe that Sakura has a psychological problem. She seems unable to let go of Sasuke even after he tortured her and told her to her face that she had no reason to love him. Yet she's still in love with Sasuke!
