judging by what Eurogamer and Kotaku have been saying the chantry fall under 'good guys' (despite being among the most malevolent organisations in Thedas, right up their with Tevinter magisters and the Qunari) and we HAVE to work with them, no choice, if a group is considered 'good' we end up working with them....
what it is about you and the Chantry?! give it a rest will you? Did you miss the part they said you can express your denial of Maker vehemently?

Oh, great, you've played the game then. What a relief.
See the thing is when you say something like that after someone posted SPOILER, people who are trying to avoid such things will scroll down to your post and ASSUME that your post was regarding that spoiler. I was only clearing up any confusion that your post may have caused.

For people who didn't want to look at that spoiler, I can say this is 100% untrue.
Thank you.

"BioWare has clearly listened to, and learned from, the criticisms levelled at Dragon Age 2. It has also cherry picked some of the best elements of its Mass Effect series - most notably the more exhaustive dialog options - to create a role-playing game of sweeping scale and often surprising impact."
This what what I had gleaned from watching videos and other information leading up to this point. Noice.

WARNING!!!
Thanks, I added the warning to the OP.
Don't know why Gamespot would be so thoughtless.

WARNING!!!
DO NOT WATCH THE GAMESPOT REVIEW! THERE'S A MAJOR SPOILER REGARDING LELIANA.
I didn't watch it so what I'm saying here is just speculation... but If they kill her off without an option to save her I'm coming with pitchforks to the Bioware offices!!

...
Is it weird that seeing Leliana's face actually makes me more excited to play the game?
It shows that there will be VISIBLE consequences of our actions in the game which is what Bioware has been lacking for the last couple games.
Booyah.

Don't be a dick and troll people with fake spoilers. It's not funny.
I could say the same about people actually spoiling the game in the Scuttlebutt section.

It's nothing that big, don't worry.

Getting good vibes from the reviews.
Some fears confirmed. But even with the critiques it reads and sounds like a fun, content-rich game.

It would be a shame if that effected review scores though as it wasn't Bioware's fault...
I think reviewers were the ones that found it for us, actually. For us, the game was "out the door" before the new firmware was delivered. Most are pretty understanding after the cause was found.

Im excited for the game and hope it does well (and Im definitely getting it). I am a little worried that the reason why its getting good reviews seem to be its skyrim aspects in large part which is not what I play Bioware games for. I like depth rather than breadth, really compelling characters and a decent story are my draw cards which seem to be getting a bit more criticism than praise ![]()

Seriously? This is terrible. I just hope this is not a fixed part of the story but a result of dialogue choices and actions (being nice to chantry officials, embracing your "messiah" status etc.) I was planing on playing a merciful and just paragon but if becoming a ruthless, bloodthirsty maniac is the only way to oppose and distance myself from the Chantry, I say bring on the slaughter. ![]()

I dunno, most of the reviews I've read talks about these quite a lot (without going into spoilers). A couple of places have said the main plot is weak, but they seem to be outliers mostly (and to be honest, BioWare games have rarely had compelling main storylines. They usually hook you with characterisation).
