This gives me pause for concern:
Instead, you’re running the same errands you’ve run before and busying yourself with collecting ten of these or fifteen of those before trotting off to find a lost ring.

If you're talking about Gamespot's review then nope. I didn't read review but do not watch video review if you wish to avoid spoilers.

This is what the Kotaku review has to say about that: "I've seen plenty of people concerned that there are too many busywork "go here and get 10 of these" quests in Inquisition. While those sorts of quests do exist (and seem pretty optional), they're easily overshadowed by the game's wide array of more-interesting diversions."

Hope that's the case. The more I read the more it feels as if there's a lot of Skyrim in DA:I.
Kevin's text review was spoiler free and quite lovely, I thought. Don't watch the video though.
Although the audio for video is also spoiler free. Just, as you said, don't actually watch the video.
The VideoGamerTV video....those hats....dear god....
I think I'm going to have to blackout my DAI media at this point. I'm a but concerned by all the bugs reported, especially for PS4, hopefully they'll patch those quickly.
apparently there is a pre-release patch so digital downloads shouldnt really be affected
Wow, those are some really positive scores!

Right? I mean... wow.
Have any reviews mentioned Hawke's customization yet?
The problem I have with the generic side quests complaints is that they seem kinda needed. We know that to unlock the bigger quests you have to obtain power and that power is obtained by doing things in the big open areas. That means that the game has to give you a lot to do so there is lots of choice and that can't all be really complicated interesting stuff. Just don't do the generic quests if you don't like them, it really doesn't seem like you actually need to do any of them.
I really think those quests are just there to help fill up these maps so that there is stuff to do everywhere you go and if you expected every quest to be complex then your expectations are way too high.

You can read the review and listen to what he has to say in the video one, BUT DON'T WATCH THE VIDEO !
