I noticed that the hide version of the boots only had one sample, so I thought I could try to add a few:

female version (HHF and EEF only at this time), the right one is supposed to represent fur.

The left and middle ones are the same, the left is just tinted. Closer view below;

And the male version:

Well, I'm really not good at creating textures! Not sure I'll ever release those!

Nice additions.  :)  Are they tintable?

I noticed on the middle image that the front part of the heel seems to be missing. Perhaps there's a pair of surface normals oriented incorrectly?

That's very likely! And yes, they are tintable. But I really need to find existing textures rather than trying to make them myself!

Those boots are made for walking (and that's just what they'll do).

Hopefully the females can also use the practical male ones.

Yes, we should be able to have comical villains with height issues who use heels to seem taller.

CG Textures has a number of leather textures under Fabric -> Leather.

I want to see full screen of the body;got the feeling legs are shortened ,specially low part.

Actually i don t see how to do high heel boots and keep nice proportion without remaking skeletton.

Third screen,the left boots seems a nice compromise even for woman.

For a medieval fantasy setting, higher heels may be an elven innovation for use when dealing 'diplomatically' with human males. Or they could have been introduced by succubi...

I just tried with the same P_HH?_skel (I move the pivot slightly up, i.e. by the height of the heel, and saved it as P_HH?_HH_skel). I also copied the P_HH?_idle animation in my override and renamed it as P_HH?_HH_idle.

As I feared, the idle animation being the same, there was no change in height. Of course, removing the alternate idle animation from the override showed a taller character, but staying immobile. I guess the easiest way would be to use an OnEquip script that increases the height by 1 or 2%, and the UnEquip script will remove this extra height.
