I purchased Dragon Age: Origins "Digital Deluxe" version via Steam.  It took nearly a day to download all of the content.  I was really excited to give it a try, however, once it finally downloaded.  However, I ran into immediate issues when I tried to launch it.  First of all, when I launch the "Dragon Age: Origins Launcher" via Steam, I am told that "There is an issue with the following XML" (twice) but, despite the error messages, the launcher does, in fact, start.

On the launcher's configuration utility page, I was initially told that my DirectX installation was out-of-date, so I went to Microsoft's web site and downloaded the most current version of the DirectX End-User Runtime, which was released 16 Sep 2009.  When I started the configuration utility again, that error no longer appeared (thankfully).  I set the resolution to 5760x1080 (since I have a three-monitor system) and almost immediately after launching the game I get "Dragon Age: Origins has stopped working".  I adjusted the resolution to 1920x1080 and got the same thing.  Then, I removed the check for "Play in Full-Screen Mode" and got the same thing.

I have the latest drivers from ATI, specifically the Catalyst 9.12 drivers for Windows 7 64-bit released 17 Dec 2009.  The rest of my relevant system spec.s are as follows:

AMD Phenom II X4 965 quad-core processor running at 3412 MHz
8 GB of DDR3 RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
1 TB of storage from two 500 GB drives in a RAID-0 configuration
Two ATI Radeon HD 5850 video cards in a CrossFireX configuration
On-board sound via Realtek audio chip set

Has anyone overcome the XML error problem (or know of its cause) or overcome the "Dragon Age: Origins has stopped working" problem?  Given that all of the content is nearly 20 GB in size, I REALLY hope that I don't need to re-download it all again.  Any help would be greatly appreciated since I am really looking forward to playing the game.

It turns out that Steam will report that the game has downloaded completely (100%) but hasn't, in fact, done so. When I logged out and logged back in (and restarted Steam), it ended up downloading the remaining content, which enabled me to successfully start the game - without error.
