I purchased KOTOR this weekend, it was a favorite of mine back in the day. I was astonished and disappointed to find that this game supports exactly zero widescreen resolutions. This is a major distraction (I don't know if you've ever seen 1280x1024 on a 1080p display, but it ain't pretty). I realize that this is an inexpensive title, but if it is going to be sold currently, should it not at least have 1280x720 support? The only way to work around this, as far as I know, is to pull a cracked executable and mod it.....I should mention that doing so is expressly against Steam's TOS. I should not have to do that just to get a game to run in a reasonably playable manner. Does Bioware intend to address this? It is about my only huge complaint with the game.

I was having this very same problem. There are a few fixes, but this one worked for Me:

Follow the steps word for word and you should get widescreen working. I set it to 1366 x 786, that worked best for Me
Though just a note, if you have the Steam version...you might not be able to use this fix because of Steam bullshit DRM system.
