That being said i chose Asher to stay behind, it felt more... right. So much **** happened to Rodrick and i want him personally to take revenge. The goodbye from Asher though really hurt, i made him tell Beskha to take revenge for him and i really do hope she survives.

The traitor part was so weak and lame.... the pic that has been posted about the traitor was exactly why it was so damn lame and it didn't make sense.

 

 

Also can i say how much i fooking hate Ramsay???? He can't even die in the damn game. When we will see him dead, wHEN?

Well... the Forrester army is, after all the fails, also only about 20 men... coincidence? I THINK NOT!

I've turned my Rodrik into a vicious bastard. The only way I can see his story ending is by exterminating House Whitehill. I really need that to be an option in the next episode. And damn, this was seriously the toughest choice I've had to make in the game thus far. Left Asher behind to fuel Rod's anger and vengeance and because the latter finally recovered and is ready to fight. Couldn't let him die after all that. Rodrik the Broken must become Rodrik the Breaker by the end of the next episode, or I'll be super sad-face.

The choice at the end of the episode was a tough one, really. It adds for great replay value, though.

 

Ramsey is kind of hampering my choices. The guy has plot-armour.

I chose to leave Asher behind. It gutted me but it was the only option I could live with. The first thing I though was, Elaena just lost her brother If I let Roderick die the poor girl is probably going to throw herself off a tower. Then theres lady Forrester and Talia, who might be sad if Asher died but absolutely devastated if Roderick did. I figured Roderick would know that and it would make him hesitate long enough for Asher to make the decision for him.

- In the words of Marcellus Wallace: I'ma get medieval on your asses Whitehills, just wait. 

 

- I had to leave Asher behind. Rodrik is a better politician and was groomed to be a lord, if he died I feared House Forrester would be in a much worse position than it was when Ethan died. 

 

- ****** Ramsey Snow and his ****** plot armor really annoyed me this time, it's ****** lazy writing.

 

- I thought the reasoning for Duncan (in my case) being the traitor made sense. Of course, it's stupid that he's still mad because he's not Sentinel but the diplomacy behind the curtains with the Whitehills fits his character and, knowing how he loves the Forresters, his "end justify the means" philosophy was a good reason for me. And I killed him because of this.

 

- The development of Mira's character was interesting for me, how in the conversation with Cersei they very much look alike. Guess how King's Landing works for anyone who stays there for much time.

 

- Unless it turns out to be a HUGE "Deus ex machina" by the end, Gared's storyline is the one that's more expendable for me right now, it's so dettached from the main storyline that it almost feels like another game.

When this moment comes I will be there and I will say: "Not this time TellTale! I wanted to kill Ben and you made me buckle. I wanted to kill Kenny and you made me buckle. NOT THIS TIME!"

 

When I'm done with House Whitehill they will compose the Rains of Highpoint and Tywin and Ramsay will take notes. I will go Old Testament on them. Hammurabi. Eye for an Eye. In the end, there will be no more House Whitehill.

Final choice was a no brainer to me. I can easily see Rodrik sacrificing for pretty much everyone especially his family, but leaving Asher behind just made more sense imo.There's no way in ****** hell i'm going to sacrifice Rodrik to get killed and humiliated by Gryff who's been wrecking and bullying him and his family since the series started. Eleana is probably also carrying his child now.

 

I liked Asher a lot but he served his purpose and i want Rodrik to finish the job, it might take some convincing to get sellswords on his side but if anyone can do it, he can.

I really, really don't want to kill her but she seems dead set on preserving the Whitehill legacy and making peace. Unfortunately I think at this point its Whitehill or Forrester.

until Asher/Rodrik died. I only blamed them for the original Lord Forrester's death, but decided to let that be bygones. I didn't blame them for Ethan as that was Ramsay. Although underhanded as hell in regards to the Ironwood, I considered that they (their people) might have fallen on hard times and needed it to survive, so I had forgiven them/didn't wholly blame them for either of those things and didn't want to exterminate them. I was actually hoping to have the option to make a truce in regards to the Ironwood and make an alliance which would drive away Ramsay and his men, instead of giving the bastard (literally and figuratively) what he wants.

All bets for peace are off now, even if

Ryon dies because of it. I am willing to spare any who surrender, but Griff... his ass is mine. The only thing that will change my mind is if Lord Whitehill reveals that he ordered Griff to capture Asher/Rodrik, but he acted on his own due to having a stick up his butt. Still, Griff dies, no matter what. I'm demanding a son for a son.

Leaving Whitehills alive would just turn this bloodbath into a multi-generation Bracken vs. Blackwood thing. Better be unpleasently brutal and thorough this time and it will be done for good. Tywin knew that and my Rodrik will know it too, without taking pleasure in it.

I would not stop until all of them are dead. Twyin Lannister knew what he was doing when he butchered two great noble houses in the Westerlands and I intend to emulate that.

If you are fan of HBO show it is. The writing imo is good, far better than what we received in season 5 this year.

 

If i would have to pick cons: there are some scenes that just make no sense or have plot holes. And i feel like some existing characters like Danny and Cersei just feel shoehorned in the plot.

 

A lot of people also say house Forrester is basicaly copy/paste of house Stark, considering what happens to them and because all characters you play with are spread around Westeros. Without spoiling anything you have presence in the far North, Essos, King's Landing and The Wall. I do think there is some similiarity but they are not even close to Starks.

It's essentially the story of a minor House dealing with its own troubles while the major players are out doing their Game of Thrones thing.

It is, until the TV-characters show up. Jon (and Daenerys, I've heard) in particular are portrayed out-of-character to the point where it made me cringe and stop caring about the series.

 

I stopped after Episode 3. I just don't think the writing is that good. It's not Bioware ME3-DA:I levels of cringe, but it shows that it's written by people who are fans of the show as opposed to people who really take proper ownership of it IMO.

I'm conflicted on that part. Gwyn did try and help - in her own way, and she definitely did less damage than the traitor. But, I can see the reasoning behind eliminating the house entirely. She's not a fan of her father's behavior and actions, but I don't think she'd take the extermination of her House lightly.
