So, I will end up playing this game.  As a PC player, I am going back and forth on buying this game or waiting until the price comes down.  

And while I am leaning it to buying right now (in the age of the Internet it would be nice to go through a game where I couldn't find answers on a Wiki) I don't know if I want to pay extra for a unicorn, a halla and a throne. Don't get me wrong, I liked the mabari in DA2 but could I have played the game without it?  

 

How many people  are "ponying up" for the deluxe edition?

I did. I preordered it back in April. I also like having the sound track, armor, mounts. I regret nothing...

Um a DRAGON SKULL THRONE is more than worth it for me. Who doesn't want to sentence people to death while sitting upon the skull of a dragon?

 

But really, it's only $10 and you get a soundtrack, all the dlc, the weapons, the mounts so it's not that big of a deal. It's like like they're charging $99 for it.

Apparently I managed to grab one of the last three Inquisitor's editions at my EB, so I might be putting a little more into it, just for those tarot cards. xD

Already "unicorned up" for the deluxe edition for PS4, contemplated getting the Inquisitors' edition but backed down.

Considering OSTs are often sold for $10 (or more) I'd say it's a good deal.

You get the soundtrack too.

And the music so far sounds great.

 

I'm mostly getting the deluxe edition for the music , there's only one or two weapons I really like ...and I think the weapons are the pre order bonus.

I don't care about the mounts or the throne.

I am.   I guess $10 buck might be different for different people.   In my case, I look at that as a meal for 2 people at McDonalds, hardly a game changer.    Besides I am in the camp of people that thinks good developers should be charging more for their games anyway.   More money means better games.     A game like Dragon Age, which will entertain me for 300+ hours...   works out to about a quarter an hour.   You can't beat that deal anywhere else.

I'm getting it mostly for the OST. In both Mass Effect and Dragon Age, the music has been amazing.

If your playing a necromancer you will be a joke without the bog uniccorn, a dead horse with a sword in its head!

That is oddly original so worth it.

And oh pre-ordered/bought in  may so already did the dollars up.

Now on the Origin is an offer for pre-order which gave you a 10 euro worth vaucher for the next buy... so price seems at least fair in comparison with the consoles in my region.

 

But I think that it would be better if they did the same thing as with the Battlefield, that they sell you Premium game with all upcoming DLCs, I would pay for that rather than for some mounts and stuff.

Mine's already bought and paid for, and so worth every cent. I would spend at lest $10 on gas to drive somewhere to buy buy the game, so I just went with the DD version so I can preload and play as soon as it goes live at 11pm Tues. Everything else is just icing on the cake for me.

I, too, have no problem spending 10 extra dollars for the soundtrack alone. I am a little embarrassed that I bought the guide for the fancy/dumb-looking horse dragon, but hey, the guide looks nice. Could not, however, justify spending $70 (plus $12.50 shipping) for the fancy art book at the Bioware store, although it looks very nice.
