I actually can't stand Metacritic and what it means to the industry....
But it's fun to try to predict where the score will end up for DAI given the review embargo ending tonight/tomorrow....
My call right now is 87... From what I've seen from previews I think that there will be enough people not liking the changes to combat, the fetch quests, etc... that it will keep the Metacritic score under the magic 90 mark...

82 because MetaCritic reviews suck most of the time and they always seem to have the lowest scores for really good games.
I also wonder how many posts will popup with people saying how easy the game was an how it only took 8 to 18 hours to complete the whole game instead of 100 hours on Metacritic.

I'm going to guess...87-94.
I go high because the hype has been so good so far with very few complaints (that I know of). If I had to pick one, I'd say...90. I dunno, I don't use metacritic. I'm sure there will be just enough people annoyed that it isn't Origins 2.0 that it will be dragged down at least a bit, but I really think it will do well.

DAI will pbly be a 94, with a bare mininum of 90,simply because IGN+Gamespot are weighted tier 1; being an AAA published by one of the big boys will net you the "gamespot 8", anything half decent gets u a 9 on the tier one reviewers. If this game merely doesnt stab people in the back it is guaranteed 90 by virtue of scope of content, anything above that we can only hope.
86 feels about right to me, but I'm hoping that is lower than it deserves. Games I like usually seem to get lower scores than I think they deserve on Metacritic.

Cuz if we're talking User reviews I predict a 65%. The game's gonna be brought down by users still butt-hurt over ME3's ending, DA2, it being on consoles, etc. etc. giving it 0s.
From critics I guess around a 90, from users I guess around a 7, though only because of people dead set on hating it because of ME3's ending, DA2 and/or it's published by EA.

One instance of metacritic silliness is the metacritic score over Fallout: New Vegas. Obsidian Entertainment developed it as a straight payment game from Bethseda (no royalties from sales). They would only get a bonus if they hit a metacritic score of over 85. Despite strong sales (over 5 million copies sold) and hefty profit for Bethseda, they missed the metacritic by 1 point.

yeah im expecting this as well.
I like Angry Joe reviews better than most any other. He usually states exactly what the issue is without bothering to worry about Political correctness in gaming industry. Metacritic and the most of the other reviews in some way are too politically correct to really give a fair and unbiased review.
Probably around 80. I predict a lot of people really butting up against the difficulty and the lack of a regular heal mechanic.
Whatever it is only matters to the sheep of the gaming world.
