So say I am playing as Cassandra and not my Inquisitor and I summon the mount. Can I get on as her and have the rest disappear or will it just switch automatically back to the Inquisitor?
Can our companions ride the mounts?

I think I saw in a gameplay video Cassandra using the mount if you are controlling her. Don't quote me though

According to this , no.
Naw that just says that the rest of your party will disappear. What I want to know is if you can have a companion on the mount and have your Inquisitor disappear with the rest.

No mounted party sadly, but some of your party members are able to mount you.

Honestly 30 mounts is ridiculous when the no companion commentary occurs as a result. I know my ass will be too paranoid to use any of these mounts as a result making it a huge waste of resources for me.

Same here, party banter is one of the best things!

The question is: how many horses do you want to ride?
The real question is: who cares?

I plan on doing a playthrough to get commentary from the party members and then a playthrough to try out all the mounts.
I think I saw somewhere that you could get on the mounts with one of your party members instead of your player charrie, but there would be no commentary since the rest of 'em go "in your pocket".
