Did I miss something, or has it always been the 25th; a week after the games release? Even though the regulars ship on release day.

Where are you seeing this? My Quizzie's Edition of the guide on amazon says it releases the 18th, although it still hasn't given me a shipping date.

EDIT: Just checked and saw amazon changed the date from the 18th. Crap. :(

Oh good, I thought it mine had been changed but I wasn't sure. At least I'm not the only one.

I emailed Amazon and asked shy they changed the ship date to the European release date.  Let's see what they have to say.

What countries do you all live in? I'm in America and Amazon still has it at the 18th.

Same. I live in the midwest.

I also live in the Midwest and it's still saying the 18th. I don't want to jinx this, but I do want to inflate my postcount. So.

Very curious.

On a related note, does anyone know whether Amazon will email a code for the eguide or if we have to wait until the guide itself arrives? I was hoping to be able to get access to the online version while waiting for the hard copy to arrive.

Hmm. What was the date of your pre-order? Mine says I purchased the item on July 26, 2014. Did you order yours before that? Yes, I'm grasping at straws here. :P

@virtus753 No, I'm sure they won't because what if you cancelled your order then? Most likely, the code will be on a slip of paper included when your order arrives at your residence.

EDIT: Here is the link for the page on amazon that is telling me November 25th.

I live on the East Coast US and pre-ordered the hardcover edition of the guide on Amazon. The release date still says the 18th.

Still no delivery information yet though.

I ordered mine on July 28th, still says Nov. 25th for me with no shipping info. Well done Amazon.

Yes, that edition still says the 18th for me too. Just the Inquisitor's version of the guide seems to have changed. Maybe manufacturing/shipping took longer for the uber collector's version that the other two editions?

You know, I absolutely knew amazon was going to screw this up and delay it, since they still haven't given a delivery estimate this close to release. They did the same thing for the hardback game guide for Destiny, so I just cancelled that order. It's ridiculous to put out a guide 1-2 weeks after a game comes out!

I actually went and paid for a paperback copy at my local Gamestop last week that I can pick up at midnight release, along with my game so I won't be caught without a guide. If I didn't want the Inquisitor's Edition of the guide to go with my Inquisitor's Edition of the game, I would probably cancel, but I must have the shiny. :pinched:

I'm in Washington State, and not only does the hardcover guide not have a delivery estimate, but my pre-order of DAI (PS4 version) changed from guaranteed release day delivery to 'delivery estimate: November 20th'.

Ah, so there's the explanation: I'm illiterate and was thinking about that one instead of the Inquisitor Edition~

That actually makes me feel a bit better. So, it is the Inquisitor's Edition that got delayed, not the Collector's Edition, I guess. ;)

Wow, that sucks! If I were you, I would at least cancel my game pre-order and just buy it locally. Maybe you have a Gamestop near you? Many of them are doing midnight releases too (mine is, and I live in a small town).

Yeah, I'm probably going to do that. It's a bummer though--I live like, 20 minutes away from Amazon headquarters (and maybe 30 minutes away from the nearest fulfillment center) and we've always gotten all our deliveries so quickly. I have no idea why this one--the one I've been wanting for AGES--is different!

Murphy's Law? :P Amazon only seems to do that with stuff I really care about, which is why I order all my Super Important games from my local Gamestop.

I only ordered mine this past week, and it says the 18th for me...I'm from Mass, if it makes a difference, since some people are listing their location. :)

I received a follow-up email from Amazon confirming that the Inquisitor's Edition was delayed by the manufacturer, Prima.  It is my understanding (see other posts in this thread) that other stores have the same issue with the Inquisitor's Edition.  The Collector's Edition are on schedule to ship on the 18th.  I still haven't heard back from Prima.  :(
