I don't know what the heck happened. I happily was able to select everything I wanted for both DAO and DA2, and then I thought "well, you can do multiple world states, so I'll play around with the choices from my other playthrough."

 

And now the world state with my rogue city elf has my noble human warrior for DAO. And I CANNOT figure out how to change it back. The city elf was my primary playthrough, and it seems as though my world state is now "stuck" with the wrong hero attached. I can look at all of the other heroes, but it won't let me select them.

 

What do I do? Also, it would be great to know how to properly set up multiple world states, since apparently I completely messed it up.

Don't go to the heroes page from the drop down menu, go straight to the Hero tile in the tapestry. Make sure the choice is not locked.

Yeah that heroes page is just a list for you to view.

 

To set up more world states, click the globe icon to pull out the side menu. Click the + symbol to make a new world state. The pencil symbol will let you name it. Click the eye symbol to actually pull that worldstate into the Tapestry to edit the new one instead of your first one.
