If we had the equivalent of playing old DOS games in ME3, then the Incisor would still have an use.

Geth Spitfire: Weight is rediculous, Movement speed penalty, terrible versus Armor. Only a couple of Soldiers are somewhat decent with it. Oh, and it's an Ultra Rare!
The worst weapon in this game is the lack of at least a minimum of skill.
And how do you propose to solve that conundrum?
harrier.
There's an old thread where the RoF was tested to be 600 or 650 instead of the listed 800. BW acknowledged the bug but never fixed it. If they had, it would do around 30% more DPS than it does now.
BioWare also said they tested weapons how they perform on Silver and adjusted based on those results. Not on stats, figures and numbers. Is what I also read one BioWare person say. So to them the Geth Spitfire was fine as it was even before the 10% buff. ... But is they tested these things on Silver, then don't ask me why the Hurricane is the way it is. Cause that thing should be outright banned below Gold difficulty
... What's that? Reeger? Well I guess BioWare guys had a thought time standing up on their feet on Silver if they got too close to enemies, so they that having to risk getting close was trade off enough, maybe?
I really can't believe BioWare guys who had access to this game way before us are so terribad to think Silver is the normal difficulty even by the last DLC. Silver to me is the "still need to learn how to play" difficulty, because I was never forced to learn how to properly play until I entered Gold. That's why everyone who jumps to Gold get very overwhelmed at the difficulty spike that they drop like flies every second. "Huh, cover? What's that?... What do you mean I can't stand in the middle surrounded by all enemies? Come revive me right now!"
Has anyone ever used a Locust SMG?

That gun makes me sad now. It feels like someone dropped it on it's head between ME2 and ME3 then tried to fix it with duct tape but made a total hash of it, yet somehow slipped it into the arsenal cause he's secretly banging the Armory Chief in the weapons-locker.

Best SMG in Mass Effect 2. Not so much in ME3 but it's still quite okay. The problem is that Hurricane, BPP and CSMG are so much better.
I've used it a lot lately with Quarksman, GE and a few other kits. It kills mooks really, really fast when you shoot them in the head. Being able to do that with a good percentage is obviously a prerequisite for doing well with it.

Put it on Turian Soldier, it becomes godlike if you are good with headshots. Against bosses is meh, but it eats infantry with so much easy it's almost unhealthy.

Playing drunk, true story.
With the right tactics (Incendiary rounds) even the Shuriken gets useful. Don't forget most of you people play Gold and Platinum, which is more difficult than the normal ME3 SP.
The Reegar Carbine. Since concole players get only about 10 fps, it becomes practically useless and does almost no damage. You're better off with an Avenger to be honest.
GI with shuriken with headshot amps all the way, isn't too bad.

And how the hell do I make screenshot?
Alt+ PrtScn pastes only a black screen in paint.
Bunz, use fraps to take screenshots.

Will give it a shot now.

So, your definition of a gun that can do decently is a gun that can barely outscore pugs when used on a GI? Right... I think mine is a bit different, sorry.
The Argus. "This thing's rather underpowered. Does it even benefit from Marksman." "No. That's why no one uses it."

You missed the part where the pugs were the following:
1. Talon merc spamming cain mines
2. TGI Harrier
3. N7 Fury
All with maxed manifests and using top o' the line weapons/equipment
Right, Bunz? Right?????

... Does it really matter what a pug is using? I mean I'm sure most of them could hack for one-shotting everything and I wouldn't even notice... ![]()
I feel like the obvious answers are the commons (other than the Mantis), but if we exclude commons, then:
Pistol: Phalanx. It just does so little damage. Although there aren't any truly, catastrophically bad pistols.
SMG: Shuriken. Duh.
Assault Rifle: Argus. The Vindicator, GPR, and Phaeston are also pretty awful.
Shotgun: Scimitar, with an honorable mention to the Eviscerator
Sniper: Viper, Incisor, and Krysae are all pretty bad
GPR, and Phaeston
Confession: I use these
