is the nudity in DA:I witcher 2 type nudity???
Yes, there'll be bare butts and breasts. You likely won't see Bull's "Iron Bull" Same goes for Cullen's "Templar Sword", or Dorian's "Mage's Staff". There was mentioning of a woman, who it wasn't said, giving a guy a bj. Though you only see back of her head at the guy's waistline. Nudity will be more kin to those you see in movies, and not those in Game of Throne. Also, there'll be alot of references, of the scenes not shown. Like one quote that's been going around that... Bull says? "I love how your t!ts bounce as I bin your arms, and take you on the side of the bed."
Example likely DA will show: Heavy Rain - skip to 13:40

"Witcher 2" type nudity sucked. Like, if it's okay for Triss's fine breasts to be exhibited onscreen then at least give Geralt a nice dong to make things realistic! I mean, come on, why do his weird white underwear-trousers materialize onto his body every time he's finished doing the nasty? Okay, so perhaps some men would be weirded out and therefore no onscreen penis, but not even a shot from behind?
CDProjekt Red didn't even have the courtesy to at least show us some of that witcher-ass xD.
It's a little bit hypocritical to be so open minded and forward thinking with female nudity but remain so uptight about male nudity. If you don't have one, you shouldn't have the other, and vice versa. I hate it when people praise the Witcher's nudity as some kind of societal breakthrough when the developers only went halfway. Though this post is quickly getting further and further off-topic, so I'll stop now

If you're expecting full frontal ala the Witcher series, then you'll disappointed. You won't find that in DA:I. It is an improvement over previous installments, although that doesn't take much. Underwear sex with a 1000 yard stares and soulless looking smiles was just unsettling. Face to black worked, but it would have been nice to see a little more than that. In case anyone missed the thread on it, here's what the ESRB said about the game:
http://www.esrb.org/...&searchkeyword=
Rating Summary: This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of a warrior battling evil forces in different dimensions. Characters use swords, axes, hammers, and magic attacks to kill fantastical creatures (e.g., demons, monsters, dwarfs) and humans in melee-style combat. Cutscenes sometimes depict characters impaled or getting their throats slit. Violent sequences are often highlighted by cries of pain, gurgling/gushing sounds, and large blood-splatter effects; blood remains on the ground in several environments. The game includes some sexual material: a female character briefly depicted in front of a man's torso (fellatio is implied); characters depicted topless or with exposed buttocks while lying in bed or after sex; some dialogue referencing sex/sexuality (e.g., “'I will bring myself sexual pleasure later, while thinking about this with great respect'” and “The way your t*ts bounce when I pin your arms and take you on the side of the bed…”). The words “f**k,” “sh*t,” and “a*shole” appear in dialogue.
This is what they said to Forbes about the sex scenes themselves:
http://www.forbes.co...on-mass-effect/
“Something that didn’t work well is that we tried more, well I won’t say graphic, but in Dragon Age: Origins we had characters crawling around in their underwear and it looked weird because they were wearing these lacy Victoria Secret panties and outfits which looked out of place,” Perry told the publication. “Certainly when you have these characters interacting with each other in such an intimate way it’s incredibly expensive in terms of animation fidelity and getting it to look like they are really there and touching each other. I think Mass Effect’s scenes were done really well and I think we will take Inquisition’s scenes in that direction. You might have a nude character but they are framed in such a way that parts of them are in shadow, or having characters in various states of undress.”
So, it'll not only feature some nudity, but we don't have to see idiotic things like having a character put on a bra for sex. ![]()

According to a friend of mine, there was basically scenes that had (non-explicit) signs of cunnilingus (Sera was in those shots) and fellatio from someone (no clue.) Plus, if you notice, the "partial-nudity" part of the rating from previous games has been changed to simply "nudity."

dont you know that doesnt count because shes ugly? thats how ratings work right?
It counts as partial nudity. You don't see any of the female companions topless or nude, and the only NPC/enemies that come close is the Lady of the Forest, the Broodmother and desire demons.
Even more importantly to the ESRB, none of the above fit into any sexual situation. The desire demon offers as such at various points (Isabela's temptation in the Fade comes to mind,) but it isn't like they are showing us having (badly done underwear) sex with them. Due to this, Origins. got the partial-nudity from the ESRB descriptions as a result.
It has nothing to do with her looks in this case. That's not how ratings work. ![]()
I just want to see Dorian's butt. I don't feel like that's too much to ask for.
I don't think it is too much to ask for. I suspect we will though. I figure they gotta have something for the non-straight men and the straight/bi ladies after all. ![]()
