I would like a toggle to turn the screen black every time a fight starts.

I understand that people may have certain triggers, or just plain don't want to see those things. But if you're speaking for recognition, there are many people out there that have non-sexual related issues with games (though this topic is on nudity specifically). People who have problems seeing violence, torture, anger, alchoholism, arachnophobia, epilepsy, etc. These can be powerful triggers too. I hope I don't come across as callous, but how much do they need to strip away in order to make it friendly to everyone? Then it wouldn't be the story they want to tell.

I think it'd be great if certain things can have work arounds (like turning off persistent gore), so that more people can play the way they want. But unfortunately, it's impossible to cater to everyone, especially in a "dark fantasy" setting.

The ability to toggle it off, and not be shoehorned into having to respond to some suggestive comment on the dialouge wheel.Is really not that hard..and it wouldn't affect the people that want sex scenes.

It would be ironic if one of the most downloaded mods for DA:I was nudity censorship (assuming mods are even possible). I don't care one way or another if it's nudity vs ME1 style covering angles but I wish people would stop trying to force their views on others. Either way it's too late to change anything.

I don't get it either.  I mean, people are going to see nudity irl at some point in their life.  Why be so prudish about it in a video game?

What's it matter? Some people like it, some don't care and some don't like it. There's no accounting for taste, or sensibilities, and it's nobody's business but their own. Nothing about what Player X does or doesn't like makes it into games because they like it, unless they are also Developer P. Sometimes it gets in, or left out, and that suits Player X fine, but they didn't do it, the Devs did, and they may be adding it, or not, because they don't want to take the heat, such as the Alien Side Boob fiasco from ME 1. That's their prerogative, and we can either accept it and move on, spend literally years crying about underwear scenes, yes, BSN, I'm looking at you, or scratch our heads and walk away. I bounced in strip clubs for years. Nudity doesn't offend me, but when I expressed an opinion about it way back when, I was fine with Fade to Black scenes, such as swtor has.

Hmm, I never thought of it before but I wonder if my orientation is part of the reason I do not like it in media as well. 

I thought that that was the entire point of this from the beginning.

 

Personally, I find FTB obnoxious, contrived, and unnecessary. I'm not after porn per se, but I dislike sex scenes that are coy about it. I feel that sex in these situations is too emotionally important to want to gloss over it more than is necessary for practical reasons. I'd love to come up with an alternative that satisfies us both, but I doubt that it exists.

I mean, the mod still leaves her cleavage exposed, and it doesn't change her promiscuous attitude in any way. It just makes her outfit slightly more realistic for someone who gets into a ton of sword fights.

That is the only reason why I used it. It just doesn't make sense to me for you to be ruining around in your underwear while fighting bandits.

What if she has to fight a desire demon and needs to seduce it? Pants could seriously hinder such efforts. I just want Isabela to be safe.

How much will non-armored pants really protect you from sword blows? Especially if your center of mass isn't armored.

 

But regarding the main topic... I find it difficult to see alternatives that aren't either nudity or non-nudity. Especially because I really enjoy seeing character interaction and growth incorporated into sex scenes, leaving them things that aren't just in for titillation, aside from the fact that I just plain find sex interesting.
